The room I had was large and comfortable. Probably in need of a little TLC (shower head not very clean). Tea/Coffee and biscuits always appreciated! As it's at a motorway service station, there's not much choice of eateries, but it's quiet enough, and decent for a short "get what you pay for" stopover. I would stay again.

Great for the price! We were travelling to the continent and needed value overnight accommodation as a stop off. You get exactly what you pay for here; a clean basic hotel room, a good hot shower, friendly staff and a few seconds from the Motorway. I don't understand the bad reviews.. What do you expect for £54.00?

I wasn't expecting much from the Days inn at the Maidstone services, but I found it generally ticked the boxes for a simple overnight stay. While it's true that the bathrooms are in need of renovation, the room itself was fine and a good enough size. Level of cleanliness was good. It's nice being right next to the Roadchef for McD's, Costa, etc. Front desk was helpful as well. This is obviously not some kind of destination hotel. There's not much in the way of amenities and there's not even much of a lobby, just a couple of chairs in front of the reception. It's more like an overnight on the way to somewhere. For that purpose it works and at a reasonable price too. One small plus was getting two packs of cookies in the room - good for your afternoon tea! However when I tried to buy more of them I was told that they're not available for purchase.

Bed was very bouncy and only a double, not enough pillows, although this is a personal preference I know. Sheet was stained, the cleaners MUST have spotted it! Dirty mug in bathroom, bath didn’t look very appealing. Pigeon poo on window sill. Mouldy nets and I asked for their nicest room as it was a special occasion. No communication from hotel when I emailed. No answering of the telephone either.

Good things - staff, very friendly and helpful. Extremely good price. Bad things - room tired, bathroom really past its best. Bath surface was rusted, shower loose on wall, bath taps very stiff and difficult to adjust temperature. Sink tap, hot dribbles at first and runs onto sink surround. Toilet difficult to flush and cistern cover would not stay down. Lots of things that need updated. No email to allow online checkin so did this at desk.

The room was in reasonable condition although the window frame was rotten and the bath was stained. The room didn't necessarily feel dirty as such just a bit run down. Water from shower/bath tap was unbearably hot. Overall for a cheapish place to stay it did the job.

Arrived early and was greeted by a man who was very helpful and made sure my car would not be ticketed for being in the services overv2 hours. Staff were very friendly throughout. I am sorry to say that's where its good points ended. The room smelled musty and the decor was tired and poorly maintained. Bathroom was clean but no plug for the sink red rust on the edge of the bath, round the taps etc. Duvet covers were stained, hole in the wall where a socket dosnt fit. Woken twice during the night by a barking dog. Pets are allowed and my fault for booking and not realising. This hotel is very under invested, tired and old. Will not be coming back here. Pricecwas cheaper but still not good value

Dirty room, mouldy bathroom, filthy bath - generally a horrid stay with lumpy bed and pillows that were thin and lumpy and needed replacing. Whilst this was supposed to be a place just for sleeping in, even with a cost of £200 for three nights, the costs did not warrant the nastiness of this tired place and I would go elsewhere,,,
