clean room but small not in the same league as premier inn .. if was just me and my partner then i would pay extra to stay in premier but as we had a dog with us .. travelodge was out only option ...toilet is cramped and if your a bigger person you might find it difficult to use the toilet as so close to the wall .. noise can be heard from other rooms .. on a positive the bed is more comfortable than premiers and the air con is easier to use .. great if you have a pet but if you want more luxury then not as good .. no parking on site but parking nearby just make you you use the correct car park not like me who parked in the wrong one and had to move car due to costs .. as post code takes you to the wrong car park grrr

Whilst this combination would normally make for a great night, in the context of a family hotel stay when we were all hoping for a good night's sleep, it wasn't such a great combo. The downstairs area and lifts smelt strongly of drugs, once in the room we were greeted with the booming bass sounds from the club opposite. This continued until the early hours of the morning and was unbearable. Other than that the hotel was really mediocre.

This hotel overlooks a beautiful lake on the edge of a central shopping and entertainment district. Plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance for breakfast and supper. Very clean hotel with attentive staff.

Hotel location is fantastic, to the rear there’s a park with a lake and walks. To the front a pub serving good food and then shops all around . The hotel was immaculate inside and out. Throughly recommend.

Staying here has been the best decision. Aside from the obvious central location, which in itself can’t be beaten, the service here is second to none. From the moment I walked in, the interaction with Amelou at reception was just amazing. I checked in a bit early and my room was not ready. She literally offered me an upgrade so that I didn’t have to wait. I got a huge family room with 3beds and a gorgeous view of the lake through a huge window, letting in a tonne of light. The sunrise over the lake, in the morning is a view to behold. I decided to stay for a second night and was allowed to stay in the same room again. The cleaners are lovely to interact with. Laura in particular was fantastic and did an amazing job making my room spotless & ensured I had my teas/coffee. You could tell she loves working here. Overall, what a great experience it’s been to be looked after by the staff here. Nothing was too much to ask. I would be back in a heartbeat!

I came to stay at this hotel in January. The check in was easy enough. The room was adequate I didn't find the bed particularly comfortable though. The location of the hotel was perfect. Only thing I would say is the strong smell of cigarette smoke was wafting in the corridor.
