My girlfriend and I did a weekend break in Dublin. Our stay was great. The room was very clean and the breakfast every morning was lovely and set us up for the day. The location was the biggest selling point as it is a quick walk to anywhere in Dublin like Templebar. I also found the staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay here if we're back in Dublin again.

Sadly my newborn was taking to temple St hospital so I had to get a hotel near by. The customer service and lack of compasion I got from the start was actually shocking but I was in no state to deal with it at the time. I don't know where to start. I was there 5 night and I payed every morning for another night, hoping that I would get good news from the hospital and bring my newborn home .I was charged 50 euro more than online price everyday when I asked why they said I could take Internet price but I'd have to leave room 12 and come back at 4 to a new room even after I explained my situation. I was answered with a blank look and lack of any companion .That makes no sense to me as we didn't need cleaning or anything so didn't need to pay cleaner too clean, they where just money grabbing on my situation. When my wife asked for a taxi to temple Street which is only around the corner she was questioned why she wouldnt walk and made feel lazy .Not that it was their business but she was only 5 days past emergency c section and exhausted with worry. Then on the Monday the last day after being over charged at total of 250 euro and near a 1000 in rooms when I was told there was no rooms which I understand but I begged as my situation and I was distraught with the situation in the hospital.Inearly collapsed with worry. I was clearly not well with lack of sleep .I was asked by the receptionist if I was fully in my mind and if I knew how hotels worked .Like am I stupid or just not listening I was then left on the street with about 10 bags clearly to many to carry while the same receptionist seen me struggle and gave me know help actually looked smug by putting me on the street He the said he was the manager which even shocks me more . Id give negative stars if I could .I took me a week before I could write this and still I am upset. I would usually be well able for a horrible nasty human being like that but not at the time. Hands down the worst customer service situation I've ever experienced. Luckily I went to the Beverly Hotel around the corner who couldn't do enough for us and even discounted the rooms when they realised the awful situation we where in.So I beg anyone reading this please look at the Beverly hotel around the corner beautiful hotel and don't profit on the misfortune of others

Lovely hotel. Excellent location. Great breakfast and evening meal. Staff very friendly. Good on line check in and check out option. Nice bar. Good security at night making sure only residents get in. Check out time off 11am is a little early. Otherwise I couldn't fault this hotel.

Me and two friends arrived for a 3 night stay here recently. When we arrived we checked in and paid only to get to our room and realise we were in a double room not a triple like we had booked. Two of us went down to explain this to reception and they then showed us our booking which had someone else’s details and name on and was not our booking at all which isn’t great for confidentiality reasons as all this persons details were on the form. Then while waiting for this to be fixed a young lad was shouting right next to us that he had been raped in the hotel and wanted his luggage out of the room. It was all very intense and as three female travellers pretty traumatic that someone was shouting about this just as we arrived. We were then sent to our room to get our bags and told things would be sorted. The reception then later came over and apologised to us for getting upset herself while this happened which just shows how intense this situation was for everyone there. The room was sorted and we were given complimentary coffee while waiting but when we checked out we were given an extra £170 to pay which they said was because when we checked in they had charged us wrong. It would have been basic courtesy to let us know we hadn’t been charged enough as soon as they realised given the mess up with our room. Having to sort this in the morning which we weren’t prepared for them led us missing the 07:02 bus to the airport and having to wait for the next one. On top of throughout our stay we were approached twice outside the hotel by people asking for money and cigarettes and at one point one male tried to follow my friend into the hotel. We also witnessed the police at the hotel twice during this 3 night stay. At no point we’re we ever reassured that the young lads allegations of Rape were untrue and there seemed little security at the hotel just allowing anyone to be able to follow us in. Overall we felt very unsafe during our visit and the lack of courtesy and basic customer service from the hotel regarding the room mess up and bill mess up was appalling
