A large hotel with a swimming pool near the city centre. Bedroom was large, beautifully furnished and decorated. Bed was very comfortable. Dining room was also tastefully decorated. Food at both breakfast and dinner was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We had a lovely stay here last night after going to a show. From been warmly greeted at the front desk by Diego to being served at dinner by Adam we felt very welcome. Our room was spotless with chocolates, dressing gowns and slippers, albeit only one dressing gown for some reason. However we didnt use these. Fridge, a bucket with ice available on the corridor and Sky TV all helped our stay to be comfortable. The bed and pillows were as just perfect. Bathroom spotless with plenty of towels. We has lunch in the Mezz floor, an after dinner drink in Vertigo bar and breakfast and dinner in Stir Restaurant. All well run and food and drinks were very good. Plenty of staff to help at meal time. Notably Gluten Free section at breakfast and Adam helped so much at dinner with Gluten Free information. At checkout we were again greeted by Diego who again was so helpful and friendly. We overall were taken aback by the staff friendliness.…
We stayed here last night before a show at the Bord Gais, arrived and had to wait for our room so we headed for some lunch. Servers so lazy we waited for 40 minutes before having to call someone over for a second time. We then got into our room, only one towel so we had to request more which we are still waiting for. The shower barely worked, only trickled water and not enough hot water. No air conditioning the room was so hot all night long. Don’t get me started on breakfast, awful! Everything was practically gone and waited long times for more to come back! It was all cold and just disgusting not worth it at all! The staff are so unfriendly and the service overall is shocking. Definitely would never stay here again and wouldn’t be recommending it.
So dissapointed with this "4 star" hotel. Room basic, staff appalling. They had no interest, no smiles, no basic skills. Ordered a bottle of wine for the room. 2 of the staff working behind the bar didn't even know how to uncork it. Took 3 of them to do som Waiting up to 8 minutes for 1 of 3 lifts to come down. Order 2 coffees at breakfast which we are still waiting for. Was due to stay there again in 2 weeks however will be looking elsewhere. accommodation elsewhere. Only enough hot water for one 4 minute shower. And a clanging noise out on the balcony all night which you couldn't get access to due to doors being locked.
Great hotel, super location, 15 minutes from the famous Temple bar. Parking available nearby in multi-story. If you speak with the hotel, you get money off, which is very good, especially in Dublin as it's quite expensive. The room was very comfortable, there was a double and single in the room we booked. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was powerful, something I appreciate when I stay away. The hotel gym was good. There was also a pool but didn't have time to use. I would definitely recommend this hotel if visiting Dublin.
A smart, modern and clean hotel with good facilities. The hotel is ideally located, slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin city centre but still only around 20 mins walk away. Its in a brilliant spot for travelling to and from the airport . I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.
Arrived at the hotel and checked in could not fault the receptionist whatsoever and our room was lovely so no complaints there but unfortunately that's were it ended we went to the lounge bar for a drink I ordered a glass of prosecco and a pint of Guinness was told take a seat and I will bring it over 20 minutes later it didn't arrive even though we could see it sitting clearly on the bar as I stood up to get it myself a waitress lifted it and brought it over and she did apologize for the wait no reason for it apart from the staff joking among themselves 🙈I noticed my girlfriend face when she tried the prosecco basically it was flat so I returned it to the bar and asked for another and the response I got why what's wrong with it when I lifted the glass up he could clearly see it was dead after receiving another one and having a table booked for a meal at 5-30 we ordered a chip to take the hunger of us we waited an hour for a chip again they apologized and when it came to pay the bill we waited 40 minutes before someone came to us the service was pathetic they can't say it was a shortage of staff we counted 8 members standing talking and strangely enough when I asked to speak to a manager I was told there was none on duty only a supervisor who was one of the staff standing talking and taking no interest what was going on around them so it was a terrible experience …
Good location, decent breakfast and pool area. Busy hotel and the pool & restaurant were full of families, so would avoid these areas during peak times if your not with kids. All staff were lovely and very helpful even when we received a phone call from reception early in the morning in error.
Stayed on the 29th December. Booked room online. Hotel emailed a few times before our stay to make clear the restaurant and leisure centre opening hours (reduced hours over Christmas). Whilst you would expect full service at such a peak holiday time, I did appreciate the hotel went to great lengths to keep guests informed. I emailed re parking options and received a prompt reply with links to 2 discounted parking options. Very good value and close by. I Went with Best car park (€20 for 24 hours)- very close to hotel. But remember that you must select the time to Commence parking when you book the ticket, and regardless of when you arrive it is 24 hours from the time you opted to commence parking on the online booking form. It’s €5 per hour after that, which seems to be standard city centre price. But adds up quickly! I checked in online and when we arrived reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Our family room was well appointed, generous size. Spotlessly clean. Beds were really comfortable. Was missing milk for a cuppa in the room but was very promptly brought up when I called reception. Breakfast was lovely next morning. Good choice, kids were delighted with fresh pancakes and Nutella to order. Everything else was self service. The restaurant manager was lovely and very attentive to the children. Swimming pool is lovely, kids really enjoyed, a definite highlight for them. Online checkout was seamless. Super location for Bord Gais theatre or convention centre. Everywhere else easily accessible on foot/bus/Luas. Other then breakfast we didn’t eat in the hotel so I can’t comment on that. But overall we had a lovely stay and good value.…
On arrival we enquired about restaurant dining times and a reservation. The receptionist could neither tell us the opening times for your restaurant nor could she make a reservation for any time of the day or evening. for us. We checked your online guest services as advertised in the room .No online services were available and it seems no room service was available either. We came back to reception to enquire what other dining options were available and about room service for the evening and in the morning for breakfast. We were bluntly told you don't do room service and "if you want breakfast to your room come down yourself get it and bring it to your room!". Barfood was a miserable option of about 4 main items. Bar service was terrible by an inexperienced barman who couldn't get a Tia Maria and wouldn't let me buy a bottle of wine off the wine list insisting I buy it buy the glass. Operation of the till had to be assisted by another bar man who he had to go looking for while the queue was out the door. To be honest our nights stay left me with feeling of Fawlty Towers and the attitude of "this would be a great job if it wasn't for the customers. Didn't even have the heart for breakfast the next morning. We left very disappointed and pretty much robbed of the €209 paid simply for somewhere to sleep for the night as the staff had no interest in doing anything else for us. The only positive I can give is rooms were spotless modern and spacious.…
