My wife and I recently stayed at Pembroke Townhouse during our honeymoon trip throughout Ireland. We were so happy to have picked Pembroke as our final destination during our trip. We were so pleased with how nice and welcoming it was when we arrived. The welcoming staff, Artem, was so pleasant and helpful getting us all checked in and even upgraded us to a loft for our honeymoon. Anytime we needed anything or had any questions he was available and very helpful. Truly made our stay at Pembroke so special!

The room was so cozy! It was amazing to see the massive windows overlooking the street and how comfortable we were while staying here. It was so nice to be able to go down and get snacks, water, and some of the best pastries available. Even when they ran out of pastries, Artem, ran over to the restaurant and got some more for us. We really were so impressed and pleased with this hotel and their hospitality.

We loved the location of this hotel, it was a quick easy walk to the theatre (15 min walk) and just as close to get up to Grafton Street (25 min walk). It made it so easy to get around the city and see everything we wanted to see.

We highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel when you come to Ireland. We are recommend this to all our friends and family, and will be defiantly staying here again when we return!

Pembroke townhouse is beautiful! We were attending Comic-Con at the RDS for our daughters 16th birthday. RDS is a walkable distance, but we taxied in about 10mins.

The townhouse is a stunningly decorated little gem. We had reserved two rooms, both were identical, on the same floor. The rooms are small, but the high ceiling and large window make it seem much bigger. There is a quirky set of stairs up to a mezzanine level, which contained a sofa bed for our little boy. He’s 5 and absolutely loved having his own space.

Unfortunately we didn’t sleep very well as the noise from the road outside can be quite loud.
We live in the country, so maybe we’re not used to city noise. However, the windows didn’t seem great and were incredibly hard to open.

The bathroom was fab! Well equipped with everything you would need. They even thought to leave conditioner sachets. Wonderful.
The shower has great pressure and the towels were so soft.

The quilts were folded on the beds when we arrived. I wasn’t keen on that at all. I make the beds up at home, I don’t expect to have to make them up in hotels.

Something that really let it down for me was no tea or coffee facilities in your room. I have a 5yr old chatterbox and an autistic teen, I live on coffee.

There was a little shelf with chocolate and snacks, beware this is not included and must be paid for, same as the minibar. Very over priced snacks and drinks. However, there is a spar just down the road.
My daughter made the silly mistake of having two small bottles of water, which then cost me €7!!!!

The room was clean, but I did notice a lot of dust on the light.

When I booked it said “breakfast included”. It does have breakfast but a tiny selection. Cheese and ham croissant, granola, bagel with cream cheese and salmon. It was very tasty and the coffee went down a treat.

The staff are extremely pleasant!

The hotel is located in a very quiet neighborhood, where we have an area with shops, restaurants, etc. a 5m walk away, and in the opposite direction and also a 5m walk away, a DART station that takes us to the center in 10m. Also, if you have a car, they have private parking in the back (although it cannot be reserved).

The rooms are very correct, with very large and comfortable beds, their only weak point being the wifi.

The best thing about the hotel is the breakfasts, abundant and with 3 courses: toast, main course and desserts. In addition, they offer complimentary coffee and pastries at no cost throughout the day.

Parking is complimentary and on a first come first served basis.

The lobby has a simple desk in the centre, with complimentary coffee, water and Pastries nearby.

Staff professional and friendly with payment taken on arrival.

We stayed in the loft room, which has an upstairs section to fit 3 persons.

There are snack and drinks available in room (pay for on checkout) and the bathroom is bright and clean.

The beds are comfortable and carpet spot-less. The room overlooks the main street, which on a match day be noisy, but not something that is loudly apparent when the window is closed.

A beautiful hotel and very comfortable in a well kept area.

The Pembroke Townhouse certainly proved to be a hidden gem within the reach of Dublin's inner city.

The hotel is located approximately 700m from the dart line at Lansdowne road which is 1.90 single from Connolly station. I mean what more could you ask for. So easy to find and so convenient with amazing value for money..

The Townhouse is not your typical Irish hotel it feels more like a guesthouse but with rooms at as little as 135 euro a night in Dublin why would you complain. The room we had was a standard double the bed was tej only let down one side of the bed certainly didn't have the same support as the other I feel maybe there was a spring in the mattress broken by previous over energetic guests doing some pilates....
I'm not very tall at 6 foot but unfortunately due to the bed having a padded foot board is meant I couldn't stretch out as I didn't have leg room. Now these are small complaints but might be worth considering when booking and if your staying in Dublin you should definitely consider this location. The room was cosy not overly spacious but what it lacked in size it made up for with character. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Stayed for two nights here at the end of our Irish trip. Choice the slightly out of town location thinking that it would be peaceful which would offset the need to trek into town. How wrong we were!!!
Both our rooms were fairly small and really hot even with the windows open. The rooms looked out over the car park and both nights there was loud music, arguments and general noise until the early hours. Closing windows was not an option. Early mornings then brought early check outs wheeling cases, shouting goodbye etc.
The hotel did provide a fan to try and cook the room down but as we could only find two plugs in the whole place it didn’t do that much good as you couldn’t position it near the bed.
The lack of tea making facilities is just really strange. The coffee machine is pointed out on checking in but no mention of how to get tea. We did find we could order it but still not really convenient early morning or late night. Trying to get a pot around breakfast when people are checking out, queuing to complain about the noise (yet another set of guests) meant a bit if a wait.
The bathroom was a pleasant surprise with a great shower. Unfortunately the drain couldn’t cope with the water flow so the shower overflows onto the floor.
Tried the pastries one evening. Half were still frozen and the croissants were tough and a bit stale.
Overall……. Really disappointed especially for the price.

Typical Irish hotel located near Aviva Stadium and Google offices. The room, despite being quite small is pleasant. The bathroom is windowless with a rather noisy fan. The 2 small flaws are the WiFi included in the price of the room which does not work very well and the total lack of sockets next to the bed (2 sockets in total in the room). Another amenity is the request to indicate the time you want to have breakfast the night before! Breakfast is a la carte, with 3 possible choices of savoury and sweet. The hotel staff is moderately friendly and helpful. In conclusion, pleasant but having to return I would try another accommodation.

Our experience with the Pembroke Townhouse is ambiguous.

Negatively remembered is especially the condition of the room.
We had a slightly larger double room facing the courtyard (I think
in the 6. Stock)
The pictures on the website unfortunately give the wrong impression.
There it looks as if the walls are panelled with wood.
In reality, however, it is a wallpaper that looks like wood paneling.
That wouldn't be so bad.
The problem was that this wallpaper comes off the wall in various places,
hanging down, patched or dirty.
Actually, it looked like the room had been at least partially renovated or at least refurbished.
But what was thought in these wallpapers, I don't understand at all.

The situation is similar for the ceiling in the bathroom.
Here, too, the paint peels off, although the bathroom otherwise looks as if it was not renovated too long ago.

Really shocking was the ironing board that you get provided on demand.
The reference was really extremely disgusting, but unfortunately there is no other way to put it.
It was dirty, stained, broken and the whole thing including the iron was not really usable.
Well, then, you shouldn't offer it, you know.

Overall you can live with it, but it is not nice and it clouds the otherwise actually good impression that the hotel makes.
Unfortunately, as in so many hotels, at least the people responsible lack attention to detail or rest on previous achievements and past good reviews.

The breakfast seems a bit used to at first.
It is Ala Card and the dishes you can order were (at least for us) a bit special at first glance.
I guess you try to stand out from the crowd and offer something special. But if you get involved, the things are really delicious, fresh and well prepared. Besides, you should not hesitate to ask for things and extras you would like.
The very friendly and really great staff makes it possible.

Overall, the ambience of the hotel is quite nice.
Everything is clean and at least the general premises are well maintained.
The location in the city is great.
The area is quite appealing and you can walk to many great restaurants and pubs.

Finally, I would like to highlight the staff.
Both at the reception and at breakfast were all very friendly and accommodating. The concierge even gave us his parking space when no one else was available in the evening. Thanks again velen for that!

Very nice townhouse in the Georgian Quarter of Dublin. Felt like staying in a private home rather than a B&B. Egon at the reception did a great job introducing you to all the details and necessary information you needed for the stay on welcoming you to Pembroke.
The privatw carpark behind the house is very handy; the complimentary items in the lobby/ lounge are a very nice gesture: tea, coffee, fresh water, croissants etc. The room was very clean and decorated in an extraordinary way, nice size clean bathroom. Breakfast had to be arranged for a certain time as there are only a limited amount of seats. The offer for breakfast was ok as was the quality.
The Liffey and the old part of town is about 15 walking mins. away!
