This caring calm atmosphere you wont see in many hotels and why i would class this hotel my home away from home. Dara in reception -what a gentleman he is! He has the sweetest soul and is a credit to the maldron Hotel. His smile and kindness definitely turned my day around for the better having had a tough day. The staff here excel all exceptations you would hope for. Every single person I had dealings with in the bar, restaurant and reception went above and beyond to assist in any way they could do so. Even under the pressures of the job, the guests always came first and they did this never losing that smile on their faces. Reception in particular was very busy and appeared under alot of stress but did great navigating this. Overpriced (isn't everything in Ireland ) but definitely worth the money. I will be returning again and again. And recommending to many. …
I decided to stay here based on its proximity to terminal two and the fact that I had an early departure in the morning. Sadly the location is the only thing going for it I found. Upon entering my room, I was immediately taken aback by loud, rowdy noises coming from a room or two down from me. Unquestionably this drunken crowd had decided to start their holiday earlier at my expense and others on the same floor. I thought remediating this unfortunate scenario with some grub, and a pint of the black stuff would help my mental state. After initially going to the main restaurant only to balk at the ridiculous prices, I asked the server if their bar served food. She pointed me to the bar, where I ordered a burger, chips, and Guinness. Because the bar faced my table, I could see the bartender was unaware that the keg had run out of Guinness and needed to be changed. The twist being that the bartender was unaware of how to do such a thing. After he finally changed the keg after a slight delay and poured in the first part, he forgot the Guinness was settling. Really poor bartending skills there! Eventually, I got my pint and a substandard Burger and chips and then embarked back to my noisy corridor. The room was fine, with a good bed, and an easy online checkout process is welcome, but the minor positives were outweighed by the negatives here for me, unfortunately.…
Thanks to the staff and the shuttle bus driver, lovely hotel very clean plenty on offer for breakfast and lovely and hot, only stayed the one night, they r very pleasant and helpful, rooms were lovely too, very close to dublin airport, will be back again
Although feeling this was an expensive hotel when booking, the level of service made it worth every penny. Upon arriving I was greeted by Darragh at reception and given my key. I was feeling unwell so Darragh carried my bags to my room. In the morning due to a work call I missed the hotel bus to the airport, but Darragh was again In reception and drove me to the airport in a hotel vehicle, exceptional customer service. The room were up to the standard i expected, clean, comfortable bed, and good water pressure.
Absolutely fantastic hotel. The service was excellent from when I checked in to checking out. The staff were pleasant, polite, and always ready to assist in any way. I would recommend this hotel every time and I look forward to returning and staying at the maldron again and again
Chose this hotel specifically for its closeness to terminal. Welcoming atmosphere, bright friendly staff, good room, very clean. Enjoyed dinner and drinks in the bar and appreciated the grab and go coffee before the shuttle for my early flight.
Fabulous hotel and I would highly recommend to anyone. As soon as I arrived at the hotel the place was spotless, modern and welcoming. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I was travelling alone with my two year old and they really went out of their way to help me. We ate dinner there and the food was delicious and again all the staff we came across were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We got the shuttle to and from the airport and both trips were very easy and efficient and the drivers were friendly and helpful. I really can't find one fault with this hotel.
Bar Manager rudest ever seen in 30 years of travel. TV in room doesn't work. Need to ring from outside line to get answer from reception. If you have any alternative please stay elsewhere. Ambiance and condition of hotel is about 1976. Never again.
My wife and I stayed here for one night before flying to Portugal. We had a good sized room, ample seating and well lit work area with good bedside lights. There was a big walk-in shower with a nonslip mat and nice, fluffy towels. There were plenty of hangers and tea and coffee were available, including decaf coffee. There's even an iron and ironing board. The bed was very comfortable with supportive pillows. However there is no safe in the room, I'd still prefer one, even if we're only staying one night. The room was fitted with very good sound proofing curtains which reduces plane noise.
Not clean at all! The bathroom wasnt sanitised! The heather didnt work all night! Pizza from bar is just a pizza buyed from the shop and cooked it in the microwave but my problem is the cleaning, is nkt acceptable for 144 euros per night to find on the closet in the bathroom hair..
