Very nice location, close to all and easy access to the attractions. The room ,at least ours , it was pretty small, however we just spent some time to the hotel, to recharge and sleep, so it was perfectly enough to us. no storage for our clothes, but again, it was very manageable. The breakfast didn't disappointed, they have a great one. We had a early flight and they prepared a breakfast bag to go
This hotel was in a great location, close to city center and many walkable areas. Room was small but adequate with a large bathroom. All the usual amenities. The breakfast was impressive, featuring a full Irish buffet along with cereals, yogurts, pasties, fruit, etc. Very pleased.
The hotel room was lovely and clean. Small but perfect for the two of us. The staff are very friendly. The food is nice and the cocktails are fab. The only downfall was the tap at the door from housekeeping at 8:30 when we were fast asleep and not due vacate the room until 11
The location is perfect, near the center with multiple local traffic stops just around the corner. Staff is friendly and attentive. We stayed in a double room facing Parnell street. The room was quite small but very clean and the bed comfy enough. On Friday night a lot of noise was heard from the nearby bars, that was pretty annoying. The breakfast was good with lots of choices, both cold and warm dishes. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
We have visited this hotel for the darts for the passed 4 years and it’s the perfect stay. The rooms are immaculate and the staff are amazing. I’m already looking to book again for next year. It’s location is also really good and is within walking distance to all the main attractions.
The location of the hotel is very convenient, which is the main reason I give it a positive. The room was too small, the bathroom had hairs on the wall and the shower curtains The carpet floor is disgusting. The windows are not properly isolated, and you can hear every noise from other rooms and the street. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress seemed to be expired or damaged. I would like to think it was bad luck we got such a bad room that was constantly dirty and with all the disadvantages I mentioned before. The lobby seemed better and a bit cleaner than the room. The staff from the front desk were mostly unfriendly, except for two gentlemen and two ladies who were very eager to help. The food from the restaurant is terrible, we had a pizza that look really bad and tasted worse. From that point we ate outside all the time. If you are looking for location this is the place, but for comfort, clean and good foos go somewhere else.…
Good location, small rooms but satisfactory.Breakfast was good and clean hotel close to all links. Bar staff have no idea all give you different messages, after 3 days we are told we ca t finish our wine glass that we started in our room in there bar and we ca r consume any food in the bar unless it was purchased from them. The first 2 days we asked and it was ok, 3rd day another bar staff told us to take it in the lobby and he was very rude about the fact that it was ok the day before.
We had a 5 night stay in a basic double room. And basic it was. The positives: Prime location! Bus to and from the airport is right outside and very frequent and only €8 each way. The shower was nice and big, good pressure and hot. Lovely big mirror. The bathroom was very clean. The bed linen is nice and clean. The food In the restaurant and breakfast are lovely. Plenty of choice and the breakfast buffet was well stocked and continually topped up. Staff are friendly and attentive. The gym is small, but clean. The negatives: Outside are some homeless sleeping in tents and I get the feeling that they have wondered in the hotel as there are a number of signs that say “strictly residents only”. There were no issues at all. A local soup kitchen pulled up across the street and it was fine. But worth considering. The noise from slamming doors is unbearable in the room. It is constant. As was the noise from air on units outside the window. The sound from the hallway really travels into the room. The doors don’t seem very sound proof. The bathroom door and layout makes it awkward to get into the bathroom and there’s no extractor, so it gets and stays very steamy. There is a sizeable gap under the room which lets quite a bit of light in at night. However, the room itself lacks natural light. As a result the bulbs used are extremely bright. Too bright. Even the side lamps were like search lights. The carpet wasn’t very well hoovered. The crevices needed a good hoover. And the clincher, the curtain pole fell down as it’s not secure and just resting on the holders. The location couldn’t be better. The foyer gives a real sense of opulence. But the basic double room doesn’t give the same feel as you enter.…
Lovely Hotel, very clean and reasonably priced Restaurant and bar within Great, friendly staff. Would definately visit again Well within walking distance of City Centre Lots of shops and public houses
We have just returned from our 12th stay here. Everything as good as always. The new rooms are very smart and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and a good choice. The staff as always were very pleasant and helpful. Great position for the aircoach and perfect for all the sights and shopping and eating and drinking in Dublin. Will definitely be back next January.
