I’d just like to start by saying the staff themselves were very friendly and helpful so the bad review is nothing to do with them. Although multiple times we saw a member of management who would just not talk back when we would say hello or good morning. Our first night we stayed in room 426 and was kept up all night by a loud grinding noise that got worse the windier it got. I spoke with the staff on reception the next day and was moved to another room which was much better. The only downside to this room was the noise outside was much louder. The second night the fire alarm went off at 4am, we got down to reception and was told ‘oh it’s just a false alarm it won’t happen again’. The third night we woke up around 5am due to a delivery of some kind outside, of course this isn’t the hotels fault itself, it just meant that we didn’t get a good nights rest the entire time we were there. I can’t say I’d recommend staying here to others. Also it wasn’t the cleanest in the bathrooms, both rooms we stayed in had mould in the corners of the showers.…
This hotel was in a great place to be able to walk around the city and enjoy the sites. It's going to require a cab ride over to Jameson if you plan to tour. It was an easy walk to the Book of Kells, Trinity University and Grafton Street. The weather in July was perfect for light jacket and no rain. When we checked in, our room was a bit stuffy and we did open the windows to get the air moving since there isn't any air conditioning. The only negative for this hotel is that it's close to lots of things which means there are people in the streets at all hours. It was a bit noisy with the windows open, but we couldn't shut them as we needed air in the rooms. The beds were a bit small so there were 3 of us in a room. Glad that there were 3 beds, but even with the 3 beds if you are over 5'10 your feet are probably going to be hanging off the bed. The bar was lovely and for an early evening drink the bartenders and servers were friendly and helpful. …
Recently back from a girls weekend in Dublin and stayed at the fabulous Cassidys. The location was ideal, walking distance to a shop and a lot of the places we wanted to see. Rooms were comfy and clean and the staff went out of their way to provide tips and guidance for us. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay.
We booked a deal for a trip to Dublin for a good price so wasn't expecting much from the hotel. What a great surprise this hotel was, location was minutes away from the bus stop and in a central location. The room was an ideal size, good toiletries and breakfast was enjoyable with as little or much as you wanted. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem.
This was a total surprise package. I had booked it based on value for money and on others reviews. My wife was hesitant about other reviews but she is adamant she will be happy to stay here anytime we are in Dublin in future. Staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. Food was great and good value for city centre. Ground floor is almost finished a huge renovation to bring it up to par with the lovely bedrooms we had on the third floor. Brand new state of the art decoration and bathroom And best tv I had in any hotel ever with all your apps to sign into with smart tv It’s location for shows and shopping is so central. The breakfast was superb also Felt more 4 star than anything else . Top job !!!!!
This is a lovely hotel. We had such a great stay here. The hotel itself is lovely and spotless. Our rooms again spotless and spacious. A great bar area and restaurant serving local Irish food. The breakfast buffet was fresh and hot with attentive staff with a smile. The local is perfect ! another far from all the shops, temple bar area and also the hoo on off tour bus. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
This hotel is awesome! From the minute you arrive you are greeted with smiling faces at the reception and shown to a pristine, spacious room! Beds are massive which after a day on the black stuff is very welcoming! Perfect location for pretty much everything, great breakfast and cracking traditional Irish bar! 10/10
A warm welcome as soon as we entered the lovely presented reception area. We arrive midday after catching the 16 /41 bus from airport & we were hoping to drop off the bags early while we explored Dublin but our surprise our room was ready so we were able to have an early check ( big thanks). The lovely decorated room was above our expectations if only a little chilly, only to find out much later on a narrow side window was open lol. Room excellent as was the shower room, plenty of hot water, toiletries etc. We ate in the hotel, the food being well cooked, tasty and to top it in lovely surroundings and the price cheaper than some surrounding pubs, give it a try. Lovely breakfast as well, large choice. In fact the well positioned Cassidy's made our short break in Dublin as the weather was not to good…
Couldn’t praise this hotel enough. My sister was attending the Mater hospital for cancer treatment The staff in Cassidys were so friendly and helpful to us and made our stay such a pleasant experience. Food, service, location all excellent. Would definitely stay here again and without doubt 10/10
10/10 for location, quality, service and price. Absolutely great spot so close to everything Dublin has to offer. Rooms are spacious, spotless and have everything you need. I would 100% recommend and would stay on my next visit, we have had a great time staying here.
