Arrived here on 17/3/23 for breakfast. This had been booked and reconfirmed. On arrival, after a long journey, we were told that breakfast had finished and there would be no food for another hour. Very disappointing after a long journey to be treated in this manner. If you book anything with the Davenport, my advice would be to triple check. Or just don’t book anything with the Davenport.

Breakfast is served from 7.30 am to 10.30 am and it was after this time when your group arrived . I have been informed that you were offered lunch , which would be an hour later and this you did not wish to avail of . Our staff did try to offer alternatives on the day . I accept this there was a communication error on our behalf . I have left my personal details on the email I sent to you and if you would like to discuss with me please contact me directly . Booked for 11:15 on a Bank Holiday only to be met with confusion upon my arrival. We were informed lunch service began at 12, which I was already aware of from their website, but when I confirmed we were here for breakfast, was told that stopped at 10:30. The member of staff who dealt with me went to find out what happened, and after 10 minutes, when he came back, he could offer us nothing. My mother had travelled 100km to be there, and my 86 year old granny made her way in for a breakfast with her family only for us to be told we could wait 45 mins for the service to begin. Totally unacceptable way to treat customers. This was booked several days in advance and the booking reconfirmed. Truly unacceptable.

We stayed at the Davenport the week before St. Patrick's Day. Our room was very quiet and comfortable with nice touches like a cozy bathrobe and nespresso machine. The location was close to Trinity and other things we wanted to see but still felt quiet and restful. Highly recommend!

Our family stayed at The Davenport two nights, before and after St. Patrick's Day 2023. From the moment we walked in, we noticed the attention to detail in the lobby and the friendliness and professionalism from the reception desk. Both of our rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the hotel was a great walking distance to all activities. Murilo checked us in a couple of hours early (yay!) and was ver welcoming and informative with recommendations for us. Mihai checked us out VERY early in the morning and was extremely helpful with rescheduling our airport taxi when our first one arrived much earlier than we had called for. (My apologies for any misspellings of their names). We would definitely stay at The Davenport again!

Stayed at the Davenport. Was there over St Patrick's Day weekend, Was a terrific place to stay in all respects. A little away from the craziness of central Dublin and the Temple Bar area, which worked out well for us. Short walk to anywhere. Would stay again

The hotel was beautiful and in a great location. Very nicely decorated and extremely clean. Staff was friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast which was included in our room was a generous buffet or you could order from a menu. All in all we were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to any one visiting Dublin.

Das Hotel ist einfach schoen. Die Ausstattung ist stilvoll, alles neu und es war das erste Hotel bei dem ich Buegelbrett und Buegeleisen im Schrank vorfand! Es liegt sehr perfekt zentral und ist dabei nicht laut. Das Personal beim Fruehstueck und am Empfang sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. My room was stunning! The furniture and room are fantastic and I was really impressed to find an electric iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. I could walk every morning to the Convention Center in 10 minutes. The employees were amiable and very polite. I really enjoyed my entire stay and would like to thank Cristina and Rosilex.

I really enjoyed the stay in the hotel. It has great location. Room was clean and well maintained, bed was comfortable, no noise from the street. Delicious breakfast with big variety of products + a la carte menu. I recommend this hotel!

I had a wonderful 5 night stay. The breakfasts are great, the lounge is a relaxing place to have dinner and drinks. My room was clean and well maintained. The entire staff were friendly and attentive. The location in the city made it easy to walk to many of the attractions and events. We had a great time in Dublin for St Patrick’s day!
