The Green Park hotel is to be found on the western outskirts of Pitlochry, enjoying unrivaled views over Loch Faskally from its lochside position. Set in three acres, the Green Park is within strolling distance of the shops and a pleasant walk from the Pitlochry Festival Theater. The Green Park hotel is run by two generations of the McMenemie family, in a manner suitable to the character of the house and its setting.

Just back from a Scrabble break, best hotel I've ever stayed in! All the staff without exception are exceptional, all friendly & efficient, and seemed so happy in their jobs. Met a gentlemen there who told me he'd worked there happily for 15 years and most staff come and stay

Dear Seafront, Many thanks for joining us all the way from the deep south, and delighted to read that you so enjoyed Alan and Wilma's Scrabble Break. We are very lucky to have the two of them as hosts, and they get through a power of work. Here Alan and Wilma's Scrabblers have been replaced with Duncan and Margo Cursiter's Bridge players. The dining room is hushed as all eighteen tables of four face-off against each other. It's the survival of the fittest, and the only house rule we insist on is that there are no concealed weapons on ones person. We hope that you had a pleasant journey home, and we look forward to welcoming you to the Green Park for your promised return visit. Best regards, Alistair

My wife and I spent Christmas with our daughter and son-in-law in Liverpool, but then we headed to Lossiemouth, Scotland to celebrate Hogmany with dear friends from the UK. We took the train from Liverpool to Edinburgh where our friends picked us up. The first night in Scotland

Dear Jim W, It was great to hear fom you again, and to read that you so enjoyed your time with us at Pitlochry and the Green Park. It is a great compliment to be thought of in the same terms as Brigadoon, Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse ! As a result of your reference I mentioned the film to my fellow workers, and they rather disparagingly compared the plot of the film to my normal rota. Rising out of the Scottish mist to work for only one day every hundred years, is seemingly on a par with my performance. People can be so unkind. We hope that the rest of your Scottish adventure was as memorable as the film, and we look forward to welcoming you and your family again. Best regards, Alistair

Dear gaffer-jim, Many thanks for taking a chance on us at Pitlochry and the Green Park, and delighted to read that your overnight stay was a success. It's really nice when someone shows an interest in the wine list, and we will happily open wines in adavance for you. Unfortunately my standing over to taste wines in advance for guests has yet to be taken up. I live in hope. We hope that you had a safe and pleasant journey home ( back to Fife ? ), and we look forward to welcoming you both again. Best regards, Alistair

Well where do i start? I don't think I have ever had better service! The whole place was immaculate, cream carpets in the bedroom and beautiful views all around, the Breckfast was huge and you can have whatever you like from Cerial, fresh bread, yoghart & fresh fruit to full

Dear Jones9890, What a very generous review. It was a delight to read that you so enjoyed your stay with us at the Green Park, and that we can look forward to you returning. This is a promise we will hold you to ! Here we are preparing mentally for the inevitable let down of the Scotland versus Italy rugby match on Saturday. Any game ( in any sport ) in which Scotland starts as favourites to do well can only end one way. It's the hope that kills you - I haven't even got over Ally Macleod and the world cup of 1976 yet. Enough of my lamentations. We send you our best wishes for a happy and prosperous 2019. Alistair

Dear Marc S, It was great to meet you during your stay with us at the Green Park, and many thanks for going to the trouble of posting your very generous review. The name check is doubly appreciated, as I can now lord it over all and sundry as a result ! Here we are hosting a Music Appreciation Break, and classical music is available on tap. This afternoon's session is to do with the 'Magic Flute', though I have to confess that my idea of culture is a hot pie and bovril while watching Saint Johnstone in near sub-zero temperatures. What's not to like. With our best wishes to you for 2019. Alistair
