Having stayed in the Aberdeen one, we decided to try Glasgow. We had a great stay in one of the suites. Would rush to stay again. Just a couple of wee things. Room service we ordered the cajun chicken burger which was just herbs on it and not cajun. Also a lot of reviews mentioned mini bottles of Prossecco in fridge, we had water. Nothing to stop us staying again though x

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. I love it here. The guys on reception were exceptional. There was Chris and Jojo and Natalie and especially the Italian girl. There were others but the first four I had were the ones I could relate to. And of course there is Inga who helped me with paperwork. Thank you everyone. The breakfast crew were also fantastic including Alex and Karolina. Now the hotel itself. My room for two weeks was on the 7th floor. With views of Glasgow. And the raucous chant of seagulls. My bed was so comfy. The bathroom had a huge shower. There was a fridge with a complimentary bottle wine. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk away from Sauchiehall Street where restaurants and a supermarket can be found. I am coming back here in October.

Parking was supposed to be 4 minutes away. It was at least a 20 minute walk and hard to find. It was a big problem for us, felt like a misrepresentation. When we first arrived we couldn’t even find entrance. We were temporarily parked trying to get luggage up quickly to 8th floor. Check in was quick and easy. Due to construction we were challenged each time we ventured out. Breakfast was fair, all food seemed to be fishy. Meals at chop were good. Nice large shower. Tiny soap. One of toilet buttons did not work, strange for new toilet. Building design was interesting. Room was clean. Most workers were pleasant. View was also interesting, a mix of old and new.

Visited just after opening, having stayed at other Sandman hotels. The experience was good and we would recommend it. It's obviously brand new and with that a couple of small things but nothing major. There is no car park, not mentioned before booking but there is a car park 5 minutes away and costs £16. The rooms were good, the bed was exceptional and the bathroom was huge. we had also been gifted some procecco for the room which was a nice touch. They have a great sports bar but unfortunately not open for any day sports! service started at 5 pm which was a little unusual. There was a load of roadworks outside the hotel but we had no noise in the room. Everything is within walking distance, 10 minutes to city centre glasgow which worked well for us.

Incredible customer service. The customer service provided by Amy & Jojo was beyond expectations and a credit to the hotel! Really polite, friendly and helpful - a real asset to the company! They were both quick to reply to emails and answer any questions I had on the phone. 10/10

We’ve stayed in a few hotels in Glasgow and this one is definitely one of our favourites. I stayed with my three kids. They loved the room, it was a great size for us. The shower was amazing and the breakfast the next day was so good! We will definitely visit again.

Hotel was very modern and staff were attentive. We were given 2 bottles of Prosecco on arrival which was a nice touch. The rooms were spacious and had everything you need (kettle, fridge, microwave, Iron and ironing board etc). The bed was a great size and one of the comfiest I’ve slept in. Shower was huge and very powerful and easy to use. Not the closest hotel to the city centre but nothing an Uber or taxi can’t fix. Will definitely be returning again.

I booked this hotel for my mums 50th, I was slightly worried with it only opening in June, 2023 but it did not disappoint. The staff were so friendly and went over and above for us, they left balloons, a card and two small bottles of Prosecco for us, was very touching and made us feel welcomed. It is a very modern and clean hotel with a lovely black interior finish. The bathroom is out of this world. I can’t comment on the breakfast as I had already organised breakfast before booking the hotel. I will most definitely be recommending to family and friends and will revisit in the future.
