Fantastic quiet location, situated close to the city centre, easy walk to restaurants, and sites. Angela is a great host, welcoming, intelligent and easy going. Great suggestions from her regarding things to do and places to go. Our room was spacious and well fitted out. Breakfasts were brilliant!!!!!! A warm and welcoming haven from the extra chilly weather (-7 degress C). I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay and we would be more than happy to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at 14 Hart street, Angela was a superb host. The room were spacious and beautifully furnished with period furniture, bathrooms modern and very clean.Coffee machine, tea , Whisky, wine, water and shortbread biscuits available, with fresh milk provided. which was very thoughtful for our room. Breakfast served in a beautiful dining room.Great selection of fresh fruit,cereal,yogurt and cooked Scottish breakfast. Angela helped us choose some excellent restaurants and recommend a Sunday walk that we really enjoyed from Cramond Brig to South Queens Ferry.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at 14 Hart Street for our first two nights in Scotland. Angela is a welcoming, generous, and low-key host. The house is on a quiet street, but very close to sites, transit, and good dining.

Perfect location for Edinburgh city centre, walkable in ten minutes or less, but wonderfully quiet. Elegant house, comfortable rooms with an incredible shower, delicious and hearty breakfasts. Wholeheartedly recommended!

We try and stay at Hart Street every time we are in Edinburgh. Location couldn’t be better - just a stone’s throw from the city centre - and yet - you wouldn’t know it as Hart Street is a peaceful haven. Angela, our host, is hugely welcoming and makes you feel like her home is yours for the time you are there. Breakfasts - to suit all tastes and nothing too much trouble. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and the whole house is filled with glorious antiques. This really is the perfect place to stay.

Had a lovely four-day stay, with generous and welcoming host, complimentary drinks in the room, very comfortable bed, art throughout on the walls, great choice of breakfasts and excellent location for top quality restaurants, bars and pubs. Easy walking distance to all the best spots in Edinburgh. Would not hesitate to recommend. Thank you to our host Angela.

Our stay in the house was wonderful, from the first moment super easy to communicate with Angela. The house is beautiful and with care in every detail. Very close to the center, you are immediately in the most tourist spots. Angela made us very good recommendations and made us feel at home. The breakfasts are spectacular, with all kinds of options, fresh fruit and made to order, honestly better than any hotel we have ever stayed in. I would highly recommend this place, we will be back for sure.

What a great place to stay. Angela is the perfect host, friendly, knowledgeable and with a glorious home. It's well positioned in New Town and has lots of good restaurants very near - just ask Angela for recommendations. Bedrooms are large and bathrooms modern and very clean. Small touches, like welcoming trays, fresh milk, decanters of whiskey and papers at breakfast make this place very special. Breakfast is a treat - lots of choice including fresh fruit and croissant and a full english cooked to order with delicious local bacon and sausage from the local butcher. We won't hesitate to return next time we visit Edinburgh.

We stayed 3 nights when visiting Edinburgh for a wedding. 14 Hart Street is ideally located for Waverley station and easily accessible via tram from the airport. It’s also an easy walk to all the main sites and only 30 minutes to Royal Yacht Britannia. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and well appointed bathroom. Plenty of added extras including whiskey and wine. Angela is a perfect host. From the initial welcome to departure, she couldn’t have been more helpful and engaging. Breakfast was excellent, especially the fresh fruit and croissants. There is also a wide range of cooked options prepared freshly to order. This will definitely be our first choice on any return trips.

Booked a room for single occupancy for 2 nights as we had a wedding to attend at Dunglass. My friends also booked a double room for 3 ninghts. Angela warmly welcomed me and the room did not disappoint. Nice touches - and excellent hairdryer! Ensuite was very modern and great shower! Breakfast was superb. Angela was lovely host and made our stay very relaxing. On the doorstep to good restaurants and town centre. Couldn't fault it. Will definately recommend.
