Even the basement rooms are very decent, large and bright with modern showers, great location and decent breakfast for £12.50, sometimes the floor boards are a little squeaky but its an old building and perhaps part of the charm, grandiose furnishings add to the ambience

Beautiful hotel but no welcoming atmosphere, restricted to where you can go, most rooms appear to be in the basement, it is also a private club, and there is a dress code, close to restaurants and shopping

with its smaller offices, clothes boutiques, and many
of the city’s flashiest restaurants and ritziest
clubs. The architecture along roads like George Street
helps give it a swank and formal feel: it’s a planned
Georgian development of regal townhouses, geometric
