Spent a pre-Christmas Saturday night at the property... received a warm welcome from Craig on arrival. The room was outstanding. Spotless, very spacious and with a 4-poster bed. Located in a lovely location close enough to walk to the city centre, but also with a bus stop outside! Would recommend!
We stayed at 18 Craigmillar Park for December 31st 2022 - 2nd January 2023 for New Years Celebrations. From word go Craig made our stay comfortable, he was very welcoming and accommodating. The B&B was lovely and clean, breakfast was great, can’t fault our stay, all exactly as described and would recommend it to anyone!
What a little gem this B&B is. A little out of the city centre but with a bus stop right outside. Buses are very regular and cheap. The hotel was clean, fresh and modern. The host, Craig was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Highly recommend this place and hope to visit again.
We stopped here for two nights so we could visit the Christmas Market and city. We we were certainly not disappointed. This is a beautiful B&B, tasteful decor and the room was spotless. The Breakfast was delicious too, plenty of everything and so much choice. Craig took the time to chat to us at breakfast, he’s a really nice guy! This was our first visit to Scotland and we will certainly return to Edinburgh and stay at Craigs B&B again. There is a bus stop just outside but the weather was kind to us so we preferred to walk in to the city, probably about a 25-30 minute walk. We easily found a parking space too, free of charge for our stay. Thanks again Craig! Regards Tracy & Ian
Just stayed here for 2 nights with my daughter and I cannot fault the place. Rooms were lovely and just as the photos showed. Breakfast was delicious, lovely mix of cold and hot cooked food, with fresh fruit and plenty of choice to suit anyone. Craig was really nice and made us feel very welcome, with lots of helpful tips for visitors to the area. Bus stop straight outside and only a comfortable 40 minute walk in to Princes Street if the mood takes. Plenty of pubs and restaurants near to the hotel if you don't want to go into the centre to eat or drink. Would definitely recommend staying here and hopefully we will be making a return trip soon.
Great stay, lovely decor with comfortable, clean room with everything we needed. Superb breakfast in the morning. Craig was a very pleasant host and we'll hopefully be back (at least to try out the new bar!). Loved it.
This was really a luxury B & B, and it delivered on all promises and the high ratings are well deserved. Large room, well equipped and a nice bed. Cleaning was in top - especially in the bathroom. The owner really made us feel welcome. We stayed 3 night and were happy to learn, that the bus stops, were just outside the front door. Only 5 - 10 minutes waiting time for busses to and from the city center. Day or week passes are affordable
Really nice stay here , exceptionally clean and within walking distance of the city (25 mins) , Craig was very obliging and nothing was enough trouble , The breakfast was continually being refreshed , well presented and multi choice . It is a well maintained and preserved property in a safe area of Edinburgh
Beautiful place with such a friendly host Ideal base for city Transport every 5 mins Small and friendly Good food and very comfortable bedrooms Gorgeous lounge area to have a coffee and chill We will be back
Can't recommend highly enough. Beautiful hotel with lovely, clean rooms and a perfect buffet breakfast. Craig is a brilliant host, informative and very friendly and kept in touch about check-in etc. on the day of our arrival. Around a 15 minute walk into Edinburgh, or 25 into centre, but loads of buses along the main road. All in all, a great little stay and this will be my first port of call whenever I go back to one of my favourite cities. 10/10.
