This hotel is a favorite place to eat for our family so its not surprising it was the choice of venue for the wedding of our son and daughter in law. What can I say the title says it all AMAZING. This hotel deserves a sixth star for staff alone they go over and above to please. One of the guests who is American wanted shopping directions to get a few items that she needed one item was a wedding card they did not give her directions they went out and purchased the items!. We have had so many calls and messages from family and friends praising hotel staff and complimenting the fabulous food. The rooms in the hotel were superb too. I would highly recommend this hotel for a wedding you will not be disappointed. We will continue to dine here we love it so much. Thank you Bishops Gate you made our day.

Very attentive staff, service at dinner was excellent and the food exceeded all expectations. Rooms are comfortable with air con making for a good night's sleep. I made a mistake with the booking which the staff resolved with no problem. Would definitely recommend and plan to return.

We have just returned from Bishops Gate after spending the weekend there. I am not one for writing too many reviews, but this hotel deserves a good review. This hotel surpassed itself with what we were expecting, with the standard of food, accommodation, and friendly/amazing staff. We stayed in room 108 which was in a great location in the hotel. From arrival to departure we were treated to the highest degree of courtesy. I had never stayed in a hotel before where I used the valet service, I was impressed by Patrick who was so friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. We asked for another suitcase holder for our room, via telephone from our room to reception, Patrick the valet had it up to our room within 5 mins with a smile. The staff at reception and in the bar/restaurant were also so helpful and friendly to us. It is an amazing hotel and is in a great location for exploring the city. The hotel is spotless and I can not find one fault with this hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city. We would have stayed another night, but our room was not available. I can't wait to go back which will probably be before Christmas this year.

We can’t fault this hotel. Staff are lovely and approachable. They can’t do enough for you. The rooms are spotless and very modern and comfortable. The restaurant is the best food in Derry. Far superior to a lot of hotels in Northern Ireland. The cocktail menu is extensive too. We love this hotel and often visit, can’t wait for our next trip.
