Weekend visit. Ideal location in the city centre, beautiful decor and spotlessly clean thought the public areas and the rooms. All the staff I encountered were very friendly. Bedroom was well laid out, bed was super comfy and plenty of well placed power sockets. Good strength to the shower. On the negative - even though I was on the top floor (as I requested) I was still subject to a lot of noise (music) until 3am from adjacent properties on both my nights. To be fair to the hotel, when I discussed this with reception at 2am on my first night they did recognise my room location was susceptible to outside noise AND offered to move me even at that time of the morning. More a lesson learnt if I was returning to request a room less affected by outside noise. The heating/air conditioning controls in the room stated that the ability to amend the room temperature was influenced by the outside temperature. Personally I found the room a little chilly especially over night.

I had never heard of Motel One before so when the tour I was on for work booked us in I had no expectations. It ended up being so good that I booked Motel One again when I went to Manchester! The room was clean, the staff was lovely, the location was handy. I had no issues falling asleep even though it was a busy Saturday night. Breakfast was also great and the lobby was a nice place to hang out. The room itself was small but had the basics. I would go back.

This hotel is really well located but also nice and quiet in the rooms which is great as it does get busy in the late evening. The bar is lovely and cosy and the staff friendly. The room has everything you need and the bed is very comfy. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Fabulous hotel in a great location, within about 10 minutes walking distance from Central Station. All staff were very pleasant & friendly, reception staff were really helpful with ideas on restaurants/bars to visit, bar staff were very chatty and the house keeping staff were lovely too, always smiling and pleasant. I loved the decor in the main areas, very relaxed vibe throughout the hotel. Our room was fairly compact with little storage but we were only there 2 nights so that didn’t really bother us, the bed was VERY comfortable - so a great nights sleep. The bathroom again was compact, but absolutely perfect & spotless. We will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Fantastic stay for 1 night. The hotel is very well located within bars and resturants but it was also very quiet which was great. The lobby and bar in the hotel is lovely and the rooms were modern, clean and came with tea making facilities, hairdryer, TV and lovely smelling Toiletries. The bed was so comfortable! The reception staff were so friendly, asking about our plans, giving recommendations etc, really nice welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Have stayed before as it's a short walk to the theatre and incredibly convenient. This time was after an awful train journey. Booked last minute. Called the hotel to arrange late check in in advance and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Room was spacious, clean and had all the amenities needed. Wonderful staff. A great base for anyone wanting to explore the city as basically everything is a walk away.
