Staff friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom clean and good size. Location ideal for train station and city centre and other main attractions. It's only let down was some VERY noisey and VERY drunk guests heading back their room(s). Got woken up 3 times by shouting and banging on doors as they passed people's rooms. Maybe the hotel should have security staff escort them too their rooms so not to disturb other guests, especially ones with young children.

I had a good stay at the County Hotel and if in Newcastle again I would stay there again. The room was on the small side but well appointed. I had a view over the train station on the 3rd floor, it was clean with tea/ coffee facilities and in the small bathroom shower soap/ shampoo. Breakfast was included and a combination of cooked and pastries, which you help yourself too. Staff at check in/ out and at breakfast were all friendly and welcoming. Throughout the hotel it was clean. Although we didn’t use the bar it looked like a nice inviting space.

3 of us stayed in the County Hotel Apartments for 2 nights (originally 1 night but we loved it so much we stayed an extra night!) Beautiful apartment, everything you need away from home and more. Spotless, lovely furnishings and facilties. Faultless. We booked for dinner and breakfast in the Hudson restaurant (hotel restaurant), great menu lots of choice and reasonably priced. Staff so accommodating. Big thank you to Marcus for arranging our 2nd night at the 11th hour! Friendly staff, ideal location for everything Newcastle has to offer. We look forward to returning again in the future. Thank you
