We have stayed here in the past, a few years ago. Once again, it was a great experience. Excellent, convenient location, reception and management were great. All were friendly, professional, helpful. Breakfast was well presented, hot, with a great variety to suit all tastes. Everything at the hotel is consistent and well done. All staff and management are attentive to the needs of guests. A smile and a warm welcome goes a long way!

Sleeperz 2 Westgate Road was a great find. It is central to the nightlife in both the city and the Quayside. The staff we very helpful from we got there to we left. The place is spotlessly clean. Although we didn’t eat from the menu we thought the quality of breakfast along with the variety offered rivalled a lot of 4 & 5 star hotels we had stayed in. The rooms would remind you of Travel lodge Hubb in size, they are compact but everything you need is there. Parking is suggested at the secure Central Station Car park which is a short 5 minute walk away. For a city centre hotel the rates were competitive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Really nice friendly hotel, situation is fantastic, everything right on the doorstep. The room was clean, comfortable and very bright, everything you need for a weekend away. Breakfast was very adequate, plentiful and enough choices to satisfy. The staff were amazing, from the housekeeper, reception staff and the lovely lovely Manager Mark but the exceptional member of Staff was Julie, so friendly, helpful and just the most lovely girl, hard working but with a lovely smile on her face every morning at breakfast. I took ill during my first day/ night in Newcastle and her care and support was Amazing, she was a wee Angel.

6 minutes walk from rail station. Very central location. Modern decor reminded me of 60s and 70s. Easy fast check in. Room size cosy. Had issues with Aircon not warming the room up to my preference and reception fixed it right away. Still not hot but room did warm up. Tea and kettle in room. I had to get extra sugars. Ordered chicken tikka and rice and a drink from kitchen. £13. Great portion very quickly prepared. Had to collect the tray from the reception and I took it back after. Good shower with glass partion between shower and toilet. Water from shower tends to wet the bath room floor. The handbasin plug got stuck in the basin. Water drained out slowly. I told reception. Bed good size very comfy with a mini safe underneath. Smart TV with Netflix and YouTube. Great for casting from a device. Lots of lighting. USB ports in wall not working. Otherwise 4 sockets available. Very quiet night. Curtain blocks out light from street. No chair in room and a large suitcase will use floorspace. Buffet breakfast £8.50 Very good selection of cereals toast jam fruits juices several choices of milk Only scrambled egg available which was a bit stodgy. Whole hotel spotless. Staff neatly dressed. Great place for business travellers I'm impressed with sleepers hotels. I would say better than Premier Inn. Thanks for looking after me

Nice hotel 5 minutes walk from the central station. Small and comfortable rooms for travelers who need to stay in a strategic location. There is a kettle, tea, coffee in the room. The TV works well, the air conditioner is efficient enough. Wi fi worked perfectly. There is shampoo and soap in the shower. You can eat at the hotel both in the morning and at lunch. The hotel is a bit noisy, so I recommend using earplugs. I enjoyed my stay.

Very nice and modern feeling hotel just round the corner from the main station and 10 mins walk from the city centre. Noise levels were low despite being next door to the station and the room felt spacious. Bathroom was a let down due to its size and the tap being too close to the edge of the sink so its difficult to wash your hands. one annoyance is the metal hangers they have which sound like loud wind chimes when you hang anything up. Buffet breakfast was excellent with its selection

On a city break all we require is a clean room , comfortable bed and a hot shower. Sleepers supply’s all, including clean towels daily, tea and coffee, a decent hair dryer and basic toiletries and air conditioning Nice welcoming reception staff and a comfortable lounge/ dining room and bar area. Right slap between the station and the Castle it’s very easy to find your bearings so really easy to find you way about Saturday night was noisy, this is after all Newcastle which is famed for its nightlife. But after a 5am start we soon zonked and got a good nights sleep We were here for 3 nights and the room was ok. Bathroom is a wet room and tiny, larger people might find it a struggle but we managed As we only had hand luggage we found there was enough storage but a suitcase of clothes and you will struggle All in all a good stay and I would use the chain again
