Lovely hotel, lovely staff and lovely views! Everything about the hotel was perfect and the setting was excellent - especially if you love bridges as much as I do. Most importantly, reception staff were very attentive, as are all the staff; Danielle, Denis, Fatima deserve special mentions. 10/10 all round! The comfortable rooms are well equiped and have a certain style to them that I personally like, and the restaurant & bar were airy (due to the high ceilings) and very stylish. The food was delicious in the Gino D’Campo restaurant and the atmoshphere was just right. I'll be back here soon enough.

Hotel's Favourite
We spent a very enjoyable two nights at the brand new INNSiDE Newcastle, checking out earlier this week. We went for their largest room - the ‘Townhouse’ - which was fantastic. At approximately 500 square foot it’s more like a spacious one bed flat, giving a true ‘home from home’ feel with all the modern amenities as well as welcome luxuries like bathrobes, slippers, a Nespresso, two televisions (one with Chromecast) and several large dual aspect floor to ceiling windows giving unobstructed views of all the bridges. Decor is lovely, light and bright with a large bath and separate shower. Breakfast was also very good for the money and the hotel is pet friendly which was a bonus, too, as it meant we could bring our small dog, Merlin. I never managed to use the gym (located on the first floor with their business suite) but it looked well equipped. Parking is a downside as it’s very limited with no option to pre-book and only about 12 spaces, but there’s other options close by including a public car park behind the neighbouring Wetherspoons. There’s a Gino D’Acampo restaurant on the ground floor (which also serves as the breakfast area) which does lunch and dinner and which we found to be surprisingly good when we dined there on the first evening. All in all, a stunning new addition to the ever-popular Quayside area and my new go-to for future visits to the city. Book this hotel!

Dear doctorbenedict, It was great to have you (and Merlin) stay at INNSiDE Newcastle and thank you for such a a wonderful review. Sometimes I have to remember we are only 8 weeks old as a hotel but really encouraged with some of your comments - we worked hard pre opening to identify some unique guest touchpoints across the hotel and I am glad you enjoyed both the product and the service we provide. As a frequent TripAdvisor reviewer, your 5 star review means a lot. Thanks Calum

My friend and I stayed for dinner, bed and breakfast 2nd of December. We had a fantastic room with unbelievable views of Newcastle’s iconic bridges. The reception staff Stacey and Sammy were very welcoming . We had dinner in Gino D’Campo restaurant which we thoroughly enjoyed and the portions were generous . The hotel and restaurant had a very relaxed atmosphere. Our stay was made extra special by Jack who attended our table at breakfast and went the extra mile. We would certainly recommend the Meliá Innside for ambience and value for money.
