Just stopped the one night, a Tuesday for £35.. what more could you ask for. Room warm and clean, and very quiet. very easy and quick check in. Located just a couple of minutes from the Quayside, and all the bars and places to eat. £8 parking overnight.. Great value. This used to be the Quayside Travelodge, but the new one on the Quayside is now called that.
large group stayed over easter and we were very well looked after. We arrived late but the ever helpful Emma B had all the room keys our ready and we got 28 slightly worse for wear gentlemen checked in with no problems. Breakfast was very good and the bar staff very helpful despite the late night demands we put on them for alcohol and food. Special mention for Mangeress Barbara who running around doing many jobs to keep the place going.
Nice easy check in and tidy rooms, just like all travelodges ive stayed in. If you want sleeping then this is NOT the place for you. Drunk people shouting and banging all evening and night going back and fourth to there rooms. Hall ways are grubby but thats understandable if you have drunk people there each weekend
We’ve spent a weekend in this travelodge and it’s been quite disappointing. It’s not the cheapest hotel but the service is poor. The building is very old and needs revamping. It’s very noisy and no nn one cares. We never got our towel changer or tea bags replaced .
