Stayed here with my Mam for one night as part of a deal. We were warmly welcomed by Chanelle and delighted to receive two complimentary drinks vouchers. Chanelle was so helpful and friendly and told us everything we needed to know. We were thrilled when we saw our room (415) as it had the most incredible view of the Tyne with floor to ceiling windows. It was a lovely room and very clean. The beds were really comfy. We had drinks in the bar in the evening and had a smashing time. We loved it so much we have already booked to come back in the summer! Thank you to all at the Copthorne.

We visited the hotel for a family meal on 5th November. I have to say from booking, e mailing etc the service was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. When we arrived in the afternoon to decorate the room which was perfect for our small family gathering. The staff were very helpful and accommodating in every way. When we arrived on the evening. My mam and dad were greeted with a glass of bubbly which I thought was a lovely touch. Thank you😊 The staff waited on us and explained everything about how the buffet worked. Nothing was too much trouble, we were so well looked after. We had a fork buffet (2 course). All the food was amazing it was all delicious. Soup, salad, pasta, meat and pate platter to start. Then three hot main courses plus an additional risotto for vegetarian which they put on at no extra cost so we actually had four main dishes. Extremely good value for money and all our guests raved about it. The dishes were topped up once they ran out too. Well done 👍 you did a brilliant job. We will be back!!

Had a lovely overnight stay at this hotel. Staff were very helpful and welcoming on check in. The room was very spacious with floor to ceiling windows over looking the river Tyne, which really made the stay. It’s a little bit dated but this did not put us me off at all…We would definitely recommend and stay here again. We had afternoon which was very nice and the breakfast the following morning was good quality. Nothing really to fault about this hotel. Great stay.

We stayed here for a day/night away and it was absolutely brilliant. From entering the staff were very happy, helpful and chatty and polite. The room was clean and fresh as was the bedding and surfaces. The bed was really comfy the view of the river was great. The room service staff were very chatty and pleasent. The breakfast the next day was delicious, it was a help yourself style breakfast which is amazing. I'll definitely be back here to stay.
