Well situated close to the river and town centre with easy access to the motorway system. The hotel was clean with all essential amenities. Our room was large and quiet. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We had both dinner and breakfast during our stay, both were of good quality and reasonable price. Parking was close by and easily accessible.

Hotel was clean comfortable, not badly located but be aware anyone with mobility issues the location is not the best Newcastle is very very hilly steep hills too. Parking is limited and even if you have paid the space is not guaranteed if you move your car. Which is unfortunate. The food was not the best. The staff are amazing and really make the place great. Wifi they really need to cancel with Virgin media because in 2023 I don’t know a place that does not provide free wifi! Even coffee shops do. It’s only £3 per 24 hours but most of the time it does not work and mobile signal is rubbish. Hotel clean staff amazing

I have been to this hotel several times, it’s in a great location right on the quayside. I have always had a river view which I think most rooms have. I need an accessible room because my son uses a wheelchair and the room had plenty of space. The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and was available till 10 o’clock so good if you like a sleep in.

Hotel was really good, staff were super friendly (especially the Assistant Manager). Nothing was to much trouble, room was spotlessly clean and the noise from neighbours was at a bare minimum. Overall a really good stay, will definitely be returning.

Great location, exceptionally friendly, helpful staff throughout and clean, comfortable rooms. More than you might expect from a budget grade hotel chain. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Only one thing I would ask them to change and that's a shower screen instead of a curtain.... pleeezzzzzz

The last time I stayed in a travelodge someone had punched a hole in the wall so I’ve avoided them since then., but this hotel has an amazing location both on the quayside and 2 mins from my kids Uni accommodation., I booked an uogrades room and it was great! Clean, quiet, river view, great shower and coffee machine. Cons - shower curtain means the water went on the floor and the coffee machine sounds like it’s taking off for 3 mins! Bed is on the soft side I’ll stay again
