We booked a room on booking.com and received a confirmation from the hotel, we then received a call from the hotel stating they had upgraded our room to a double and single bed as our party included a severely disabled child with very complex needs. we paid 43 for one night. when we arrived their were several eastern euro men outside smoking and laughing at anyone who walked past, my wife felt very intimidated they then could not find our booking after several minutes we were taken to a double room ? we explained we had booked a triple room so were given another double room and were told our disabled child could stay in their, we looked in the room and it smelt of urine and two men of eastern European appearance were looking through the window. our daughter is non communal and blind and we were not going to leave her alone, this place is more like a hostel and we moved hotels, we spoke to booking.com who said they would request a refund to which two days later they offered us 7 pounds ( what a joke) avoid this place it is disgusting

My room 116 ,window did not close & was on ground floor so ask for change which they did to 114,complain about state of room, smell also walking in room barefooted was not a good idea.Spoke with manager next day, moved again to 105 then found no electric shaver plug, seems that every room is different, some have a chair most do most do not & have to sit on bed. Toilet & shower are suppose to be self cleaning but found they did not, also toilet lever was broken has was tap. Came back late to find could not park has van had taken up three parking places, spoke to person on desk, told me would have word with driver, went back half ahour later told have not see him, went back out to my vehicle found him on phone near his van ,asked him if he could park so not taken up three parking places up ,which he did.Stayed in this hotel before when it was F1( has stay in they hotels in France) Also been in Metro inns Stockton before but quite awhile ago & think it needs alot of work.

Stayed at the Teeside hotel on Sat 17th August. Staff were very helpful and friendly prior to (via email) and during stay. Room was functional and relatively comfortable (better than I expected). Very good value - would recommend, especially for short stays.

The staff here are fab, lovely lady on reception and a new chap, both welcoming and bubbly. Night porters too are a good laugh and help you if you need a taxi. Ok that’s where the positives end I know it’s £50 But The carpark is littered with random rubbish, chairs dotted about, broken beer bottles and a picnic table positioned amongst 4 foot high grass. Alarm bells started ringing when the sat nav took us into an industrial estate. How on earth can a hotel be here ?? Who’s even thought it was a good area to build one here ?? The building itself is old, tired and dishevelled, run down motel style. The rooms are very small and in need of a refurb and furniture. A sink in the corner, a plastic chair, no remote for the tv (£5 deposit for the privilege) and only two plug sockets. So if you want to watch tv, charge your phone and boil the kettle, you can’t. One towel is allocated per person. Walls are paper thin, we had the delight of a dog staying over, really enjoyed the sounds of barking at 12am. Wash room facilities, well Never known anything like it. It’s communal Thats the toilets too. Pods for the showers, Pods for the toilet Green light on above door means its free for you to use. I just think for a hotel for me it’s a basic requirement to have your own bathroom. Even budget travel lodges and Premier inns have them. Im not a student anymore, nor a child at a holiday camp. Food facilities are vending machines I think you’ve gathered I certainly won’t be staying here again.

We basically needed a base from which to travel around the North East. We had few requirements other than that our room was comfortable for the short periods of time that we would spend in it and it fit the bill perfectly. Look, it is what it is. If you are expecting luxury this is not for you. It is very basic, as you would expect for the price but it was clean and comfortable. The room has a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a sink. The showers and toilets are communal but this was not a problem for us and they were kept clean at all times. We found it to be ideally suited to our requirements.

Have stayed here a few times good location from restaurants and shops etc on teeside park and free parking. In an industrial estate and mostly filled with builders etc. Rooms are basic but clean as are the shared toilets and showers. Big 40 inch Tvs and free tea and coffee - can't really complain for £25 a night. One note is that check-out is 10am and we had the cleaner banging on our door at 9:58 - I understand jobs are to be done but giving until actual check out time or an extra couple of minutes would be much nicer.

This is the cheapest hotel in the area by miles. It is only £24 for a room and you save £3 if you book via their website versus booking.com. 24 hour reception and car parking. They are modular plastic rooms but are either triple with a double bed or a proper double bed which has slightly thicker mattresses. They all have heaters that warm the room quickly once you get there but are off before you get in. You could phone ahead and get them to turn on your radiator if you don’t like cold rooms. Showers are down the corridor and they give you clean towels and there is soap in the shower. There isn’t another hotel you can pay for contactless !!

The room was full of cigarette smoke smell. There's no attached toilet and the hotel is situated literally in an industrial estate. There are ample parking space and a kitchen available to cook your own food. The reception is a bit of a mess and the reception lady was not very welcoming. The hotel provides free internet, however, the speed is extremely slow.

So interesting location literally in an industrial site. The reception is a bit of a shock but the room was ok ...ish. Two beds and two bedside tables, sink and corner shelving with kettle and mugs and tea and coffee. Room very small, literally one in at a time to manoeuvre the case in. Room appeared clean as did the bedding and towels . Radiator on the wall very rusty. Toilets and showers close by , self cleaning so clean after each use. Both ok. Showers good size and water hot and powerful. As I say you get what you pay for. We paid 24 for both of us, so taking that into consideration it’s not bad for one night.
