This is the most friendliest welcoming bed and breakfast I have ever stayed, the owners go over and above to help you enjoy your stay Made me more than welcome, I requested no breakfast due to the time of morning I started work , when I opened my room door to leave for work their was a pack lunch left for me They invited me for tea no extra charge All rooms are well layed out and immaculate The views and gardens are outstanding Nothing is to much trouble for this couple I would recommend this B and B to all my friends family or any body else I meet Thank you so much for everything this family did for me during my say kind regards geoff clark

Stayed here for one night at the end of March. Beautiful farm house and a wonderful friendly welcome. Our room was gorgeous with a balcony with great views and a wonderful rolled top bath. There was a Tv, tea making facilities, plenty of fluffy towels, toiletries and a hair dryer. The full English breakfast was delicious, cooked with fresh farm eggs and plenty of cereal and juices. Would definitely recommend a visit, it’s a shame we only stayed one night as we would have liked to check out out the location as it’s beautiful. We will try and visit in the summer. Thank you for your hospitality xx

My fiancé and I recently came to Stockton for an operation. The clinic recommended a few hotels in the town itself but none took our fancy. With a bit of research we came across Rosedene House. We are so pleased we stayed here over anywhere else; it is the nicest B&B we have ever stayed in. The lane is a bit bumpy, but I managed to get down it with no problems in my VW Beetle and considering it was quite wet from the snow earlier in the week. But the bumpy lane is worth it just for the views; it is a gorgeous house in a beautiful setting. It is very well looked after and clean, the rooms all decorated nicely and we even had a balcony and a massive freestanding bath. The owners are so friendly and helpful, they can’t do enough for you. We got to choose what time we wanted breakfast, which was very tasty. We then asked if we would be able to bring a microwave meal the next day for dinner as my fiancé wouldn’t really be up to going out after his operation, but we were offered to have dinner with them. The operation ran over by about 2 hours so I rang to say we would be late but they said they would make it for us when we got in. I was so grateful for the meal when we got in; we were both tired and hungry, and I will always remember their kindness. I highly recommend this B&B if you are visiting the area, I hope to come back and visit in the future.

In the middle of a large country park between Middlesbrough and Stockton this was a tricky place to find in the dark. I gave up, phoned the owners and they came out, found me and guided me to their hotel. Very comfortable and a great breakfast.

Travelled up to the North East with my daughter as she was visiting a University open day. We had a wonderful one night stay and would highly recommend to anyone. The location is very peaceful and our hosts Chris and Lisa were very friendly and helpful.

My Family and I once again had an amazing stay. You are made to feel so welcome the moment you’re foot steps through the doorway. The Rooms are amazingly well presented and the breakfast is fantastic. We would personally recommend a visit we have already booked up again for Easter.

A little difficult to find if relying on sat nav and if travelling by taxi, don't rely on them to know the way!! I would advise contacting owners for directions, but well worth a visit. Lovely welcome, very accommodating hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The surrounding views didn't become apparent until the morning as I arrived in the dark, but found it a very pleasant location and picturesque. The only small issue was the slightly awkward shower space, but being small I managed. Breakfast was lovely (no set times- you choose) - quick service and everything piping hot. If I need to go back to the area Id definately stay here again - amazing value for money - thank you.

I stayed at Rosedene for one night to prepare me for a interview I had at the university a short drive away and so I wasn’t having to get up at the crack of dawn. On arrival at the B&B Chris noticed I had a large mud stain all over my white shirt I had for my interview, needless to say I was devastated. However Lisa went above and beyond and washed my shirt at 10pm at night, and had it ironed and starched as good as new ready for me at breakfast the next morning. Couldn’t thank her enough, it’s touches like that that make you appreciate what a fantastic B&B this is! The actual house itself was beautiful, set in lovely grounds and fantastically decorated. A warm welcome from all the family and instantly made to feel at home. The room I stayed in was cozy and warm and extremely comfortable with a lovely clean en suite. The power shows was excellent! Breakfast was served when I requested rather than a set time which is another lovely touch, unlimited coffee and orange juice, a beautiful cooked breakfast and don’t let yourself miss out on Lisa’s home made jam - it’s delicious! Best B&B I’ve ever stayed in and I won’t hesitate to return - hopefully for longer next time!

Just returned home from an amazing long weekend back at rosedene house. Me and the wife were looking for an autumn break, and have always wanted to spend a weekend up in Durham. Neither me nor Mary are particularly fond of staying in the city centre and the 30 minute drive to Durham from rosedene house is well worth it. Once again the hosts out did themselves, breakfast was excellent just as last time. To my wifes great surprise Lisa was able to provide her with a gluten and lactose free breakfast, which so many other B&Bs do not, meaning she often just resorts to an apple or banana. The hosts advised us on local activities including the DLI and a local Hall and grounds which was hosting a market where we were able to pick up some local produce as gifts for the children when we returned.

Absolutely loved my stay at Rosedene House. A warm welcome from great hosts, delicious breakfast, and completely spotless. It was everything I could ask for and more. Will definitely be staying here again next time I am visiting the area.
