Nice clean budget hotel but much better than others in same price range. Stayed for one night and beds really comfortable. Staff were friendly and enjoyed free parking. After a three hour drive we were greeted by Tom & Jodi in reception. We booked through a third party who got the number of guests wrong. Jodi quickly went to make up an additional bed whisky Tom served us refreshments. We got speaking to Jodi and Kieron in particular a lot over our 6 night stay. They were both really helpful, friendly and have a great sense of humour. The staff alone make this hotel a great place to stay. We had stayed at a Hilton in Birmingham the day before and the staff didn’t really seem to care much for their customers. The hotel itself is modern. The rooms are a good size for up to three people. The pull out sofa beds are extremely comfortable. However, the normal beds are really firm and aren’t the most comfortable. The breakfast service is great. You can have an all day breakfast at present or if you prefer, cereal. There are plenty of juices and hot drinks to choose from. There are a few reviews about the parking. Yes, it is restricted. We’ve been able to park in the car park for 4 of the 6 nights. The other 2 nights we’ve parked in the council car park opposite and is free provided you move your car by 9am. By this time, the hotel car park has cleared significantly. This is the first time we’ve visited the area since lockdown. The staff and the service provided has been amazing and such a breath of fresh air.…

Stayed for the first time at a Hampton on the 5-3-23 . Woken up at 0440 with an air con alarm going off in the room . Had to wait until gone 5am for a maintenance man to come in and take things apart in the wall whilst my wife was laying in bed. Consequently we got up both shattered and when we complained to the desk they just said sorry it’s one of those things we’ll knock your 6 pound car park off . Please don’t tell me you think this is acceptable?

The staff are the stars of this hotel. Everyone you come into contact with is friendly and helpful. This was my first stay in this hotel. It is clean and well presented. I had an evening meal and it was great. The only negative was I had room 308 which is opposite the lift and from early in the morning, 05:30ish as people start using the lift you can hear the lift announcement.

We stayed here when we attended a comedy performance at the nearby Stockton ARC and it was honestly one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and check-in was efficient. The price of our room and the parking (£6) was reasonable. Communal areas were beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, as was our room. We had a fantastic night’s sleep and weren’t disturbed by any noise either from adjoining rooms or from outside the hotel. The only (teensy) small issue I came across was using the sink in the (beautiful) bathroom when brushing my teeth. The sink itself was set quite far back in the marble surface, and being of short stature (and with the added effect of a few glasses of wine) I had to wobble on my tiptoes when I was rinsing out my mouth. Serves me right for having that extra glass! Breakfast was great. When it’s buffet service I don’t really expect much, but the choice here was amazing, even though we went to breakfast quite late. I’m just disappointed that I wasn’t hungry enough to try the waffles! Staff were readily available to help and again, everything was immaculately clean and beautifully presented. I’m now actively looking for an event in Stockton to come to so that we can stay here again!…

Without a doubt the nicest Hampton that I have stayed in. Modern hotel, great parking facilities and excellent customer service . We didn’t arrive until 12am but the guy at reception said he would keep the bar open if we wanted a quick drink before bed. We took him up on this offer and we’re very grateful as the beer went down a treat. Breakfast in the morning was superb and we left feeling refreshed and very impressed. Keep up the great work.

Stayed between Christmas and new year- check in was efficient and the staff were friendly. Booked a family river view room and the children spent ages just sat in the window looking at the river and watching the world go by. The room was spacious with everything we needed and both the sofa bed and the main bed were lovely and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning had an incredible number of choices both hot and cold and even waffle machines. Plenty for adults and children and all the team working were chatty and friendly. All in all a wonderful stay, will very much be returning.

Following an emergency within our own home we arrived (along with x2 children) at the Hampton Hilton in Stockton-onTees. We were greeted by Thomas on the front of house/reception desk who was so welcoming, helpful and kind. Thomas went above and beyond to ensure that we had suitable rooms, situated closely and felt comfortable. Assistant Manager, Jill was also very kind, she checked in on us during our 14 day stay and offered any help/assistance due to our current situation. Tim also on front of house was always so pleasant and would wish us a cheerful good morning/afternoon, he would check if we needed anything, showing such warmth and kindness. House keeping staff were lovely and rooms were cleaned to an extremely high standard. Breakfast buffet was delicious! A huge thank you to all of the staff at the Hampton Hilton Stockton-on-Tees, we felt so comfortable during our stay, we would highly recommend this hotel!!…
