I went for the cheapest room, which was £105 a night, and I am very very impressed with what we got for that price. Our room (and the rest of the hotel) was beautifully decorated and spotless. The bed was also very comfortable. The staff were absolutely lovely, and little

My wife and I stayed here 25 years ago to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. We returned to celebrate our golden. It's different ! - same building of course, commanding a quiet site near the end of iconic Great Poultney Street but with new owners of six years standing who

Thank you for choosing to share your ‘golden wedding anniversary’ with us here in Bath. As you note the City makes for a wonderful backdrop - whether a re-union, wedding, anniversary or a simple couple of days away. We are supported by a tremendous team, each of whom takes great pride in their contribution. We look to source tremendous ingredients, whether our award winning ‘black pudding’ or our gently smoked haddock from Paignton. Cook with passion and serve with care! Clearly all that is left for us to say is try not to leave it so long until next time! Many thanks.

As you note we offer 17 unique bedrooms across 2, Grade 1 listed Georgian townhouses. All the rooms present great facilities though vary in aspect and size. Our offer ranges from very large four poster through to cosy doubles, with roof top views across Bath. In fact we are able to cater for a very broad range of needs or preferences. Delighted that you enjoyed the complimentary bubbles and the Birthday Celebrations were a wholehearted success. Many thanks

Wonderful short stay in snowy Bath for a birthday celebration. Our Deluxe Double (Beaufort) was in fact a suite with a separate comfortable lounge with TV. High ceilings and tall windows make the rooms light and airy with views of the magnificent Regency buildings on two sides.

Delighted that you shared a thoroughly enjoyable stay with us here in a very snowy Bath!! We take enormous pride in our proposition, so pleased that you thoroughly enjoyed ‘afternoon tea’. Such a pleasure to slow things down and simply pamper oneself and indulge a little. As you note we are ideally placed for the Holbourne Museum and a mere 5-minute level stroll from the heart of the City. Thank you for taking the time to write and we too look forward to your return.

Hello, Our normal policy is to speak with guests prior to any charge being made on a card. We are unable to trace any record of a booking/cancellation for a guest from the county of Hampshire. May I suggest that you contact us and ask for Charlotte or Carole. We will look to address your concerns, if at all possible; as we would certainly not wish to prompt any anxiety. Many thanks, Carole.

I wrote a review as a guest, I think you might have confused me with the owners judging by your question! I would contact Dukes direct, they had a number of rooms. I would reiterate how lovely and welcoming we found them.

Hello, We would be delighted to host you as part of your Birthday celebrations. Simply put, we would prepare whatever you like (within reason and a few days notice). Our intention is to fully satisfy our guests. We maintain a supply of 'gluten free bread', 'gluten free sausages', we have lactose free milk and soya milk etc. So let reception know at the time of making a reservation what you would 'like to have' and we would agree, source and prepare. Hope this helps. You do not pay till you leave - so the onus is on us to ensure you have a Happy Birthday!!
