Fabulous B&B. Such a pretty location. The bus stop into Oxford outside the drive gates. Georgia and Paul were great hosts. The breakfast was amazing! Locally sourced produce. Georgia makes all her own bread and cakes The jams from the WI and glorious honey from her friend.
Spotlessly clean, modern, delightful B & B with a large, relaxed garden to sit out in comfortably. Gorgia and Paul are the perfect hosts who think of everything for your comfort. The breakfast room is gorgeous! Beautifully cooked and generous breakfast. Oxford is literally a bus ride away so no hassle with parking etc., very happy to stay again and recommend.
Whispering Cottages is the very best B&B we’ve ever stayed in. The owners were absolutely amazing and work so hard to ensure every guest has a brilliant, comfortable stay! The breakfast is just superb!!
We stayed in the Baroque Suite for two nights breaking our long journey from South Staffordshire to Biggin Hill Airport. The Welcome from Geogia and Paul was such a surprise… glasses of wine, homemade lemon drizzle cake, which was delicious! The bed was so comfortable! The position of the suite was in a quiet location and we got a great nights sleep both nights. The room was very spacious and spotless with everything you need from a great B&B! It was decorated with flair and style, making the experience very special. Breakfast was wonderful! Great fresh local produce cooked to perfection! Delicious!! Even though the B&B was perfect without any flaws, the stars were Georgia and Paul! What a lovely couple they are! Georgia is not only beautiful and a truly lovely lady, she is amazingly talented and a great cook!! Paul is kind, warm and attentive, a true gentleman! They made us feel very welcome and at ease and they made us feel so special! Thank you both for a lovely stay! Hopefully we will be back soon! ❤️❤️…
We stayed here on our way to Suffolk. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and showed our rooms and the wonderful garden and then offered lemon drizzle cake. There was also a welcoming pack of biscuits on the bed and a bottle of water and fresh milk in the fridge. The bird song and the bees in the flowers made it Idyllic. The breakfast as far as possible home made, jam etc was delicious. This B and B has a car parking space behind the accommodation but great care must be taken on leaving as there is a waste transfer station by the exit and despite being warned we nearly got hit as they travel too fast.
Fantastic B&B close to Oxford but far enough out to be away from the crowds. The local bus service was great, taking us into the city in about 20 minutes from right outside the B&B. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Plenty of room, including a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. We were also provided with home made biscuits and cake and as it was our wedding anniversary, Georgia had kindly put a bottle of fizz in the fridge - just perfect. Beautifully Aga cooked breakfast in the morning with lots of homemade goodies alongside. Georgia and Paul were very welcoming with lots of local knowledge which they were more than happy to share. All in all, a perfect anniversary weekend - thank you Georgia and Paul for making it so special.
Gorgeous little B&B, spotlessly clean, very comfy and cosy. Superb breakfast with homemade bread, veggie sausages, muesli, fruit compote and locally sourced produce. Lots of very thoughtful extras- homemade cake on arrival, refreshments, milk and wine in the fridge, toiletries provided eg shower gel, shampoo & conditioner even a little pot of cotton wool pads for make-up removal. Lovely comfy dressing gowns. All in beautiful, tranquil surroundings. Thank you to Georgia and Paul for being the perfect hosts. We’ll be recommending your beautiful B&B to friends and family and we’ll definitely be back.
Delighted to have stumbled across this little gem whilst looking for an anniversary getaway in September. Stayed in the Baroque Suite which was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Georgia and Paul were extremely helpful in recommending dining options and where to visit in Oxford. Lovely gardens and delicious breakfast. Thank you for a fabulous weekend and we hope to come back again. Lee & Zoe
It was our first time in Oxford and what a great experience staying at the whispering cottage our host Paul and Georgia made our stay truly amazing I would recommend this lovely b&b to anyone if like friendly caring atmosphere and also a fantastic breakfast this is the place. Thank you for making our wedding anniversary amazing.
Had a lovely stay at whispering cottages. Georgia and Paul were great hosts and made us feel really welcome. We stayed in the boudoir room and it had everything you could need, even the little extras like torches ( as there is no street lighting) if we wanted to walk to the local pub in the evening. The home made lemon drizzle cake on arrival was very welcomed and tasted lovely. Breakfast for us was 10/10, local produce and cooked to perfection. We will definitely recommend staying here to family and friends and would love to stay again if we are in the area. Thank you Georgia and Paul for making our stay so enjoyable.
