Beautiful decor throughout the hotel and a stunning location. The sun was shining when we stayed at The Beaumont and so we were lucky enough to have sat outside and enjoyed a couple of drinks. Our room (16) was really spacious and had all of the amenities you'd expect. Hexham is a lovely area with plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops. We particularly liked the range of vintage shops. We ordered room service and thoroughly enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding and glass of red. Parking was a bit of a pain - although there were a couple of spaces in the hotel's underground carpark, it was a very tight squeeze. Whilst I appreciate this is some people's preference, we found the bed quite hard and the room was very hot - the fan helped with the heat though! The breakfast was delicious, however we were shocked at the price - £31 for 2 full English breakfasts, a coffee and 2 juices. Each of the breakfast buffet items was priced individually and so we avoided that option. …

What a wonderful property. We have travelled the world and to discover this property for a friend's wedding just made it so special. Would like to thank the staff who had a smile always and a bounce in their step it was magical. From collecting our parking disc ( and how it works ) to ordering a drink was magic magic....craving for a chocolate tiffin and a chocolate cake ( and getting it ) late in the night..while we all danced with the newly weds was unbelievable. Thank you very much we will definitely be back.

An enjoyable 4-night stay in Hexham was spoiled on checking out, when we were given a long bill of extra charges for breakfast. As well as anything you order specially, it seems that the staff watch what you take from the buffet, and charge it to your room item by item. It’s possible that charges for breakfast were mentioned on the hotel website when we booked some time before, but the booking confirmation didn’t say it was room-only, nor was it mentioned at check in, nor was there any information about it in the room (no room information at all, in fact.) This hotel is very good in some ways, but rather peculiar in others, and we were sorry to leave feeling badly treated.

This hotel is so stylish and friendly....definitely not an impersonal corporate place. Staff were excellent and human. Located just up from Hexham Abbey so located in the historic part of town. I enjoyed a pint of Monument locally brewed draft beer too

Two night stay in Beaumont and couldnt have been any better Lovely room everything worked as it should and food in the evening and breakfasts were excellent and staff everywhere were super friendly Highly recommend Parking was OK on the street outside and although it was busy it was doable

Bed was comfy. Bathroom nice & shower great. Room was spotlessly clean and the restaurant food in the evening was amazing. We were at the back of the hotel which overlooked the main road and was quite noisy.

Excellent hotel right opposite a lovely park, with the Abbey nearby. Close to all shops. Easy check in and out with friendly and helpful staff. We had no trouble parking, but, be aware that the car park is small.

We had a wonderful stay here. My mum has coeliac disease so it’s sometimes hard to find places that cater well to her food needs. We both enjoyed a wonderful roast dinner for Sunday lunch & my mum was very impressed with how they made it all gluten-free, including the sticky toffee pudding. Our room was gorgeous; quiet and beautifully designed. It was lovely to have a sofa and chairs to chill out without having to sit in bed. Looking forward to visiting again in the future!

I wish I could give it 6 stars, lovely room great atmosphere, fantastic bar very very friendly and professional staff, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was the best I have ever had in any hotel in the world. The only negative was that I wish I had booked Dinner there as it looked fantastic, but made alternative arrangements with friends. Parking was fine. Will be booking again for Autumn.

Excellent hotel well located in the centre of Hexham. The room was lovely and the food delicious and well presented. For us, this was an off the cuff booking but we will definitely return. The owner worked tirelessly in looking after both residents and drop in local customers and the staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for quality of accommodation and food and for the relaxed but lively atmosphere.
