I have found this guest house very comfortable and has an excellent standard of cleanliness. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, who are very attentive to their guests. The breakfast was great and the dining room was excellent. The room was very clean and tidy along with the toilet and shower. I highly recommend this accommodation for price and service, also the location, which is near to the local facilities, but quiet and peaceful.

The Abbey Guest House is a traditional establishment with some modern touches offering value-for-money accommodation on the outskirts of the city. The welcome was very nice and friendly. The compact single room was well appointed with a comfortable bed, large flat screen modern television, excellent Wi-Fi, and real surprise air conditioning. The shared bathroom was very compact, it was clean, but you could really move that easily. Location is good for the railway station, yet you are a bus or taxi ride from the centre of the city and all the attractions that it presents. The street is not the most welcoming and might be an issue for some, given the rundown nature of some of the properties and the dog sh#t on the paths.

I wanted to visit Norwich for 1 night as a solo traveller and not pay the roof for it. This hotel was half the price of of all the other hotels in the city centre area so was good value overall and about what you'd expect for the price (ie smallish rooms, shared shower). Positives are there is a TV, decent wardrobe and coffee and tea making facilities. The hotel and area was very quiet so a good nights sleep was had also which is a plus for a central location. The staff member who let me in was very friendly. Only real negative was the door locking - pretty sure that the locks need to be upgraded to meet regulations as if you can't find your key in the room you'd be locked in if you had locked the room! All in all, a decent stay.

Had a great three night stay. The room was a good size and very comfortable with plenty of storage. It was all very clean, including the bathroom. It was cold in December but the guest house and the room were always warm. The breakfast was delicious and nicely cooked, with gluten free and vegetarian options. The hosts were very helpful and pleasant.

Good value guest house. Sean and Vivian are the perfect hosts making you feel at home where nothing is to much for them to do for you. The guest house is very clean and tidy and only a 8 to 10 minute walk to the station. The breakfast is of a very nice quality. If I return to Norwich I will stay here again.

Stayed here Friday 26th July and I loved it. Welcomed by the lovely lady who showed me to my room where the window was open and I had a fan which was great as it was a hit day, had a couple drinks with me that I wanted to keep cool and let me use a fridge. WiFi worked was right next door to the toilet and shower room, I don’t understand how people can’t get dressed/undressed in there as was big enough for me to. Only bad point is I could hear the person’s tv next door to me and was on until 3am and back on again at 6am

I was really pleased with my choice to stay at the Abbey Guest house. Very friendly place. We felt right at home when we arrived. Very clean room & comfortable bed. We had an ensuite, very quiet. Plenty of tea's & coffee's in your room. Lovely cooked breakfast which my husband had. I went for the lighter option of scrambled egg. If we come back to Norwich next year, then I would certainly hope to stay with them again. Many Thanks.
