We have stayed here before. We were visiting our son. It was as expected. We were comfortable and in particular the staff were very helpful. It could do with a bit of freshening up but all the basics are covered

We stayed at the Premier Inn, Duke St. for a theatre trip. We asked for an early dinner, which was at 6.00pm. Good choice and swiftly served. Room was spotless. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was excellent. We had booked early which might be why it was at such a good price. Staff were brilliant.

I love Premier Inn. I often stay in their hotels. The beds, the breakfasts are so good. But this hotel was so disappointing. The key didn’t work. I could empty the sink. The room was stuffy and hit. The fan was noisy and kept me awake. The breakfast was cold and the sausages left an acidic taste in your mouth. Very disappointing.

The beds were fine but the rest of the place was dirty. The restaurant was underwhelming dirty. Poor service, poor food. Tables in the restaurant old and poor varnish half off. We waited an hour for our food.

Always enjoy Premier Inn for its consistency. The staff were particularly good in catering for a nut allergy when preparing breakfast. They allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated and improved our trip.

Room smelt of dampness and unfortunately wasnt changed was requested. Mattress was bit hard too. Breakfast was good and satisfying. Had good range of hot and cold items. Worth adding breakfast to the booking.

I’ve been to a lot of premier inns in the last two months, and the fried eggs aren’t always that inspiring, but Robert (I think that was his name) does crispy on the bottom runny yolked perfection! Thanks so much! Perfect start to the day

Check in was quick and efficient. Room request was applied. The room was clean, tidy and as expected. Staff were all nice and the breakfast I had was as expected. Recommended and I will return. Slight downside is car parking - there used to be a cheaper rate in the council car park next door. Now you pay full and expensive rates, not PIs fault but not good.

What a lovely stay. Great car park, easy and good value. A great sleep in a good bed with comfy pillows, and nice and quiet room. Great tasty brekkie, and good value too. Clean, efficient place with happy, quality staff. A lot of posher, more expensive places could learn a lot from here. 👍

Room Tip: Good car park. 5 min walk to a great pub with good food - the brew house.

The hotel is in a good location, but the beds are old and need replacing. It squeaked all night. They did offer a new room, but this was just as bad. The staff were as helpful as they could be, but they could not sort us out. Will not stay here again until they confirm that all the beds have been changed.
