Was unable to sleep due to the level of noise inside and outside hotel, my room wasn’t as clean as I expected including the bathroom which had yellow Irvine stains under the rim, the floor was dusty, there was lots of noise up and down the landings, it was more like a party hotel, I had to put my air buds in but could still here the noise at a level where sleep was impossible
It's cheap and cheerful, but does all you need it to do. The staff were friendly and helpful. Not much else to say, similar layout to most Travelodges. Only issue is the radiators. They can't keep up with extreme winter cold. They deffo need thicker duvets for winter.
Great location for the party peoples can be a bit noisy till early hours on the weekends very close to the mainline train station and shopping centre. Based in the centre of which Norwich has lot to offer
We stayed at this hotel for a cheap Sunday break to Norwich. It is in a good location, only a short walk from the castle, market, shops and many lovely bars (our prime reason for the visit). We were given a large room with a double bed and two extra beds. The bathroom was small but perfectly adequate. There is a car park just over the road. A massive thank you to Elenor for posting my straightens to me because I stupidly left them in my room. You are a superstar.
Good place for visiting Norwich city centre. Parking is expensive but street parking nearby is free after 18:30 lots of takeaways nearby for food. The room was clean and warm with a good shower will stay again.
Ideally located for easy access to city amenities & sight seeing. Castle & cathedral within easy walking distance with access to train & buses if required. Wide range of bars & restaurants to suit most tastes along with thd usual fast food / takeaway restaurants that you would expect to find in a city centre. Will plan another visit as we didn't visit thd Castle as most of it is currently closed for refurbishment.
There is a nightclub either underneath or next door to the hotel. Noise was unbearable from 9-gone 2am …banging, hard music where you could feel the vibrations in your room. Will not be returning to this hotel
Was very nice place to stay and cheap for 3 nights but only things got say which I miss were bigger room and a bath . But was very quiet , easy get in and out of hotel if want go out and about and enough stuff for 1 or 2 people in the room . But have say main light gave me and my partner a headache tho .
Good location free street parking after 18:30 to 08:00 nearby. A few good pubs and lots of food outlets and a Tesco express all within 500 yards. A bit of a walk to the city centre but buses available. A very warm room and clean no noise from Out side.
The travel lodge is perfectly situated a few minutes walk from the train station and about 15 minites from the main shops although there are small shops close by. The beds are super comfy and the rooms warm. Friendly helpful staff.
