Staff: Have to start off with how friendly and welcoming the Staff was, there was a problem guest as we arrived and the member of staff handled the situation perfectly, Location: Only a 5 minute walk from the train station, 10 minute walk from the football ground and a 20 minute walk to the town center very quite area and we went on a football day so that was nice and surprising. Room: We had a double room with a private bathroom, there was a TV with freeveiw and also had a fan and hair dryer, the room was clean and everything looked nice and tidy, the furniture could do with some updating as there was a few things broken but I'm sure that's on there todo list, The bed.... Now we did find it quite hard and I don't have a very good back so I didn't get to sleep overly well, foam mattress which is great but it's like once you lay on it you just feel the bed frame so was hard to get comfortable.. THE SHOWER! absolute heaven! Lovely power shower felt so nice and refreshed afterwards. The Restaurant: Our mistake but it is VEGETARIAN & VEGAN ONLY.. we were out all day so thought let's stay in the hotel and pop into the restaurant for a nice meal.. now it was nice and full of flavor BUT very very spicy the plant based chicken korma had my nose running and korma is supposed to be one of the mildest currys possible.. unfortunately we wasn't able to eat much of our food and for pint x2, onion bajis, garlic bread x2 , rice x2, curry x2 it did come up to £73.. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I'm sure we would stay there again

Thankyou so much to Revado for helping with a booking for an unaccompanied disabled friend I am writing on behalf of her. The extra support was genuinely appreciated. She was very impressed with the room and it is good walking distance from the train station for travellers.

For visiting Norwich the hotel has the ideal location. 3 minutes from the Railway station by foot. The rooms were lovely, adeqate size, great shower, fantastic soap, very comfy bed. The staff is very lovely and helpful. It was quiet and we could sleep with an open window. We were very happy and will most come back. Parking is a bit tricky yet we got parking permits form the hotel so it was fine for when we needed it. Thank you for a lovely comfy stay.

Firstly, upon trying to pay for a room, it was advertised at £40 for a night. We ended up having to pay £49 as the payment finalised. Upon arriving, We found the beds to be rock hard, almost as if we were sleeping upon granite rock. However, the worst part, was that we were awoken at 05:00 am ( my partner was pregnant and needed the rest) by a couple next door, who were speaking at normal volume. This was due to the walls being paper thin, and ourselves being able to hear every single detail of their conversation, as if they were in the same room as us. Avoid this hotel, unless you want every room in the building to hear every breath you take.

Location: The hotel is in a mixed residential/commercial area of Norwich, its quiet and feels safe. The hotel is a short walk from The Riverside for restaurants, bars, cinema, etc. and close to local pub etc. it is a short walk from the station. There is no onsite parting - the street parking has daytime restriction. Facilities: There is a card secured front door and reception desk which is not 24hr. There is an onsite Indian restaurant. I didn't use it but it looked good. There is also a bar. The hotel offers a number of guest services such as a luggage locker, laundry etc. The public areas of the hotel are clean, well maintained, etc. The room: I had room 2 on the gorund floor. This was clean, spacious, and well equipped. So pleased to have a proper wardrobe! There was a tray of stuff such as fruit juice and biscuits. There is a small room safe also. There is an en suite shower room which was modern, clean and worked great. The bed was firm and comfortable. The linen was fresh. I like the characterful decor Service: Everyone at the hotel was friendly, professional and helpful. I was prepaid booking so I didn't need to do a full check in/out. Everything seemed organised and efficient. My only gripe was that the people in the next room to me were noisy at 5am interupting my sleep and had the TV on very loud. Oh well, an earlier start than expected! Thats just bad luck I guess. I would recommend this hotel and I will stay here again next time I am in Norwich.

Well positioned not far from the city and station and with friendly staff I was hoping for a good stay. The room was ok , in reasonable condition , and the indian restaurant next door convenient but the challenge was noise , from mattress , neighbouring rooms , roads outside , football supporters and creatures scuffling loudly above the ceiling ( all night). The window could not be opened more than a small crack and the bedside lights did not work. A provided replacement bedside light had too short a cable. Pricing was reasonable given a city location but breakfast would have been in addition. The provided tea and coffee tray was well stocked .

The hotel is in a excellent position for the train station but a good 20 minute walk from the city centre, and on a hill, so if you have mobility issues you would need to order a taxi. We received an instant, free upgrade on arrival which was lovely. However, we were very disappointed with the breakfast. I am vegetarian but my friend is not, but the hotel did not tell us that the entire restaurant is vegan. We paid £10 for a full breakfast which consisted of 2 vegan sausages, a small bowl of cheap baked beans, a very spicy samosa, mushrooms and a diced tomato and avocado salad. We asked for tea which came in a tall, glass cup but with no teaspoons. I asked for 2 vegan bacon rashers which were very over-cooked. There was no salt or pepper available on the tables. On a small dresser in the restaurant was the supposed 'continental' breakfast selection which was absolutely disgraceful, at the same cost of £10 - there was one slice of stale bread in the bottom of the plastic bag, 4 bananas that were so overripe they collapsed when touched, two mini boxes of cereals and a jar of marmite! Service was minimal and at the desk they tried to charge us £12! It was such a shame as the hotel is clean and the room came with a good selection of tea and coffee, fruit juices and water, as well as cereal bars. Had we been told that the restaurant was fully vegan, we would have chosen to had breakfast elsewhere as my friend doesn't like vegan food.
