Great location with good car parking. We have stayed here several times, and the new Premier Plus rooms are superb. Good air con, comfy pillows and beds. The North East definitely has the friendliest Premier Inn staff, but this hotel takes it to the next level. A big thank you to front of house staff Vicky & Kayleigh for making our visit friendly and welcoming from arrival to leaving. The Thyme restaurant Chef - Sharon, makes the best Pizza in any Premier Inn we have stayed in, and some other Thyme restaurants should send their kitchen staff here to learn how to make a decent pizza. Quite simply, she is the best, and nothing is too much trouble. We look forward to returning.

Stress free friendly service throughout. With self explanatory instructions to get around. The food was great too. Spent a night there and had one of the best sleeps I’ve had. Was pleased overall with the outcome.

The rooms at this hotel were as expected at a Premier inn, I was in 502 and it was immaculate and very comfortable. Great lighting, comfy bed and pillow options. What made this PI stand out more than others were it’s people. Helpful and friendly staff will to go over and above to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Greeting me with the warmest smile, Ste ensured I was checked in quickly and had all the information I needed and even took time to check for dietary requirements ahead of my stay. As a vegan, I always struggle with restricted meal options, but here I had so much to chose from for breakfast and dinner. Jillian was on breakfast duty and quick to organise with the chef what has to be the best quality vegan sausages and bacon I’ve been served in a hotel. Evening staff were also incredibly accommodating, apologies for not catching their names as they were great. We were travelling as a group and they were under so much pressure to have us all seated and served yet they worked like a well oiled machine and maintained a happy and relaxed demeanour- it is very clear management have taken time to train their staff to a highly efficient standard Even on departure, every staff member I walked passed smiled and wished me a safe journey home. Well done Premier Inn Middlesbrough, you smashed it!

Just had a 5 night stay for business. The staff here were like staff you find in a family run small hotel. Premier Inn is a good choice usually however if I'm near here again I'll stay here definitely. The staff make a difference wherever you stay but they treated our entire team exceptionally well.
