Certificate of Excellence
Grand in style yet warm and welcoming, Chris Corbin and Jeremy King’s first hotel is elegant and intimate, its classic design inspired by the great Art Deco hotels of the 1920s. Superbly located on a quiet Mayfair square close to the sophisticated shops, galleries and museums of Mayfair, the five star, 73-room Beaumont recaptures the luxurious spirit of a bygone age. The award-winning hotel, with the most recent one being AA Hotel of The Year 2016 - London, is much-praised for its personal style of service and features the amenities of a much larger hotel, including a 5-bedroom Presidential Suite, The Colony Grill Room, an American Bar, The Cub Room - a Resident's Lounge and Bar, The Lotos Room - a private dining and board room, and a gymnasium and spa with hamam, as well as ROOM, a public artwork and inhabitable sculpture by Sir Antony Gormley.

Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.

What a treat. Afternoon tea in lovely art-deco surroundings. A stones throw from Selfridges on Oxford Street. Not the usual finger sandwiches and scones, I won't spoil the surprise but it was delicious but still as fattening!

I made a note of my instant reaction on arrival: "Most excellent hotel." Very clean; spotless. Furniture and fittings in excellent condition. Best of both worlds: a newly-built 1920/30s establishment. Decorations that are actually worth looking at: room hung with many black and

If you like walking, then the location is perfect even for first time visitors. Because of the narrow streets and much traffic, and as the hotel is so well located, walking is often quicker than a taxi. If you think you will be using taxis much, then stay at The Langham, which has its own taxi rank and is just outside Soho's narrow streets.
