I picked this hotel due to the location in Piccadilly since we were seeing shows and wanted to be able to walk to the theatres or have a short taxi ride. This didn't end up being the most convenient, as traffic was at a standstill in the area at night. However, we loved this hotel. When we arrived, we were offered champagne/orange juice/sparkling water, which was refreshing and a wonderful start to the fabulous stay. The pictures of the rooms on the website don't do the rooms justice. The whole interior of the hotel is so tranquil and peaceful from the craziness of the Piccadilly area. There were chocolate dipped strawberries in the room when we checked in, which were a nice touch to the already wonderful room. We opted to have both the afternoon tea downstairs and full English breakfast as well during our stay, and both did not disappoint. The breakfast was not as heavy as the traditional breakfast usually is, and included a large amount of fruit, which helped. I don't look like the typical clientele of this level of hotel, but I never felt looked down upon or discriminated against while walking around, and everyone was so professional. The one challenge was getting a taxi one evening -- I don't know if the doorman realized we were guests -- but this didn't impact my satisfaction. The only regret of our stay was that we had things planned each day and night, so we didn't have time to just relax in the room, and we hated to leave!…

The very best hotel right in the ❤️ of London! The location is unbeatable, right next to Piccadilly, the staff is simply the best and the Hotel and its rooms are incredible. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were very pleasantly welcomed by the staff. Furthermore, the food, facilities and service were fantastic. This was one of our best weekends away together. My wife and I stayed at the beautiful Hotel Cafe Royal for my birthday. The hotel itself and the room we stayed in were stunning. Everything and more you would expect from a five star hotel. But the best thing about our stay without a doubt were the fabulous staff. From the moment we checked into the hotel everyone was so attentive friendly and incredibly helpful. From the glass of champagne on arrival from the reception team to all the restaurant and bar staff and the concierge team ,we were so well looked after it was outstanding! Cannot recommend the Cafe Royal highly enough. Perfect in every way. Thank you!

The hotel is beautiful with tasteful decor and such a fantastic location. The service was impeccable and we had such a wonderful stay. We stayed for my husbands birthday and they really looked after us well. The breakfast menu was huge with so many choices and the waiting staff were very attentive. Highly recommended!

Wonderful hotel, and an even more wonderful service. Everything you could wish for will be fulfilled and delivered to you. The breakfast is great, rooms are spacious and super clean. Gym is the biggest and most equipped I know in London. Indeed it is a 5 star hotel very well located and the main differentiation is the excelence of the service. A great example… the Concierge had indicated for us a restaurant close to the hotel. When we arrived there, the host apologized about their mistake and told us that actually they were full. When we left the restaurant we met Mr. Gladstone (from Concierge)! He came after us because the restaurant called him to explain about the misunderstood. He scorted us all way long to another restaurant and the dinner was amazing. All the staff at Hotel Cafe Royal were very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our whole weekend stay, they could not do enough to help us. My husband and I had our 9yr old and 5month old with us and the room was even more amazing than we were expecting. We had more than enough room for all our things, and the bath and shower were incredible. Our meal at Cakes & Bubbles was excellent, the food and the service could not have been better. The hotel is in the perfect location for getting around London and we managed to do lots of site seeing on foot and via the Tube.

We had the most amazing stay at the cafe royal hotel.It was my husbands 60th birthday and we were treated like royalty! As you would expect in a top class hotel the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Our room was gorgeous and immaculate. Very comfortable bed with the best pillows!! We could’ve stayed forever!! It was such a treat and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend.
