For a short stay, this is a very good hotel. Excellent location just a few minutes walk from Victoria station. Clean and comfortable. Nothing special but all that you could need for an overnight (or two). Very good breakfast - the usual buffet choice but good fresh fruit and choice of meats and cheese. Special mention to the breakfast staff who were excellent.

It’s in a decent location, decent rooms, and they were clean. Our hot water for a shower would be hot, then cold during the shower. Coffee in room is just instant powder coffee, no real mini bar. Could not use a plug in the bathroom. Very small room, staff was ok, but not overly friendly. Decent breakfast with a very friendly staff. Not great value and kinda feels like they don’t care about going above and beyond.

A very comfortable hotel, not a huge room, but very well equipped with tea/coffee (essential!) and excellent soundproofing from the busy road. A pleasant lounge and bar downstairs and an excellent breakfast served in a light and airy room, a big choice of continental or cooked (at an extra cost). I was very impressed at the value, considering it's location. Plenty of good restaurants around and only a short walk to Victoria station. Would definitely recommend.

The Belgrave is a classy, yet casual property in a relatively quiet neighborhood that’s super conveniently located a short walk from either Pimlico or Victoria station. The stop for Bus 24 is just steps from the hotel too. The neighborhood is filled with marvelous local restaurants as well (our favorite was Grumbles). We stayed in the category of rooms called “Signature Double Room” for 6 nights and our rate included the continental breakfast. We booked upon recommendation from the Rick Steves guidebook and are super glad that we did. Our room was substantial in size and included a sitting area with two chairs, ottomans, and a small table in-between. The view from our room faced away from the street, so it was pleasantly quiet. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were high quality. The bathroom was spacious with a unique pedestal sink and a terrific shower. The room had plenty of storage and every amenity including iron and board. There was a nifty coffee and tea maker which included even a packet of biscuits (cookies) refilled every day. Our room was spotlessly cleaned every day too! As mentioned, we opted to include the continental breakfast and to our delight it was far more than “continental” like in other hotels. The food included the usual toast, bagels, and pastries but also hard-boiled eggs, yogurt parfaits, and a large variety of fresh fruits and cereals. If you wanted a hot breakfast, you could order it from the menu at a small extra charge. The breakfast in the basement was cheery as chips with a delightful skylight and hosted by a marvelous employee who greeted guests and managed guest requests with confidence and ease (I’m only sorry I don’t remember her name). We truly felt welcomed at The Belgrave and would easily stay there again!

Great hotel! Friendly staff, clean and big rooms, close to good communication possibilities. We would definitely come back when we are in London again. In a perfect world the price for a room would be a tad lower. But then again you can t get everything

The hotel was wonderful. It was in a great location that was quiet, but still close enough to the action. Transit via bus or train were only a short walk away. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were small, but comfortable and clean. I highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at The Belgrave. The location was excellent for our needs. We walked to the Churchill War Rooms and Westminster Abbey. For our day trips out of London, it was a very short walk to Pimlico Station and just a little further to Victoria Station. There were plenty of restaurant and pub choices in the immediate neighborhood, and we always felt safe walking at night. The hotel, itself, was immaculately clean. Comfortable bed. Nice walk-in shower. The continental breakfast had a good selection of cold cuts, cheeses, breads, and pastries, etc. Also, we arrived early on our first day and did some touring on our checkout day, and they graciously stored our luggage for us. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here 15-17th September while visiting from Scotland and seeing some shows! We had a wonderful stay, fantastic location and very accessible for both transport links and walking to central areas. We weren’t able to check in early so we left our bags which was handy and the same when we checked out, they stored our bags all day. The staff were so lovely and friendly! We will say that the room we were in was 311 and was ideal for us as a standard double as we were out most of the time but it is small for couples so if you like something more spacious, maybe a higher category would be better for some. We had a fab night sleep both nights, so comfy and air conditioning was bliss while it was 26 degrees outside! The additional thing to note is some rooms including ours was down a small set of stairs once you got the lift to the 3rd floor. This didn’t bother us at all but for some with mobility issues just be sure to notify the hotel you will need to be on a floor with direct lift access if not able to use 7-10 stairs with ease. We will be back to visit and will be staying here again - thanks for a lovely stay! Catherine and Emily
