Just returned from a two day stay in London, couldn’t of picked a better place to stay it’s situated in a quiet area but near enough to the museums, Kensington palace, Hyde park, Harrods and Earls Court station is a five minute walk away. We managed to explore most of London’s sights based here. On arrival we were greeted warmly and as a wonderful bonus our room was ready even though we were a couple of hours early. The hotel is on a very grand street and the houses are huge and well looked after and felt very safe. The room we had was on the top floor, there is a lift!, maybe an attic, but it was roomy and bright, it wasn’t the most modern room but I think that added to the experience, it is after all a Victorian house, it did have air conditioning, a mini bar, a wonderful shower, it was spotlessly clean and the bed was soooo comfortable, the bedding was also great quality. Loved the views out of the window especially at night, we didn’t hear any noise at all and slept well. We were asked on arrival if we would like a tea tray and one was bought up, plenty of milk, coffee etc. we unfortunately didn’t have breakfast as we had arranged to meet up with friends but it looked excellent and would definitely try it another time. Wouldn’t hesitate to return, I have stopped in some awful hotels in London so it’s great to have a hotel you know that you are going to get a great stay. I have to mention how lovely everyone who works here are, think it’s family run, we also left our luggage with them as we had a full day still until we returned home.…
We just stayed a night and didn’t have breakfast there . My daughter wasn’t keen because the room outdated but it was clean and the bed was comfortable The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us I would recommend this hotel
The hotel was in a very quiet area but central to many museums and The Albert Hall. The staff were very helpful and polite. We found it was very good value for money. Beds were comfortable and room clean .
Great stay in a twin room with my mum. The beds were comfy, the room was quite, the bathroom was clean with nice bathtub. The hotel was generally clean and cost, very well situated in a good neighborhood, with helpful and very nice staff 24/24h.
Great location in a quiet neighborhood and 7 minute walk to Earl's Court metro station. Clean and quiet room with a comfortable bed, friendly, helpful and warm staff that made you feel like family. My choice next time I visit London
The room was clean and cute, and the staff is very nice and friendly! I was looking for a small hotel in Central London not owned by big hotel groups and this one was perfect. The beds are comfortable and there is air conditioning in the room as well. The deco is a bit old-fashioned but in a good way haha, this gives some charm to this hotel.
A wonderful little family owned hotel! The way we were greeted was so sweet and the service was more than expected during our whole stay. Me and my daughter spent 4 days in London. Breakfast was very good and well worth paying extra for. Room needed some renovation but was clean and tidy. Close to tube station Earl’s Court, restaurants in the neighbourhood, and walking distance to several well known museums.
The hotel is located in a lovely and calm neighberhood, nor far from an underground station. The room was clean and quite. The staff was superbe especially Mandy and Nicholes. That will bey hotel whenever I come to London.
I was warmly welcomed by the staff who went out of their way to please you. It felt like I was being welcomed by family. Ahed of time, I asked for a quiet room, and the staff obliged as soon as I arrived; I did not have to remind them. While I only stayed a night, there were three different occasions when I asked for help and the staff obliged at lightning speed.
This hotel could be great because the staff are so nice and it's in a great location, a nice quiet area very close to the tube. However, the room was almost unbelievably outdated. It looked like it hadn't been done up since the 80s. The wallpaper was peeling, the ceiling was damp and there was a damp smell in the room and corridor. I saw other people who reviewed recently said their rooms were clean and nice so maybe we were unlucky, but ours was genuinely the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in and it wasn't cheap by any means. Definitely wouldn't come back.
