Excellent hotel , very clean and nicely decorated lobby and rooms . Very good quality food and breakfast. Very nice and helpful staff from reception to restaurant and housekeeping. Clean and comfortable bedding except for pillows. I reserve one star for 2 reasons . They have 2 types of pillows with the same thickness . Both are very high and uncomfortable and troubling the neck . I asked few times for bringing a soft small pillow. They brought exactly the same thickness smaller in length pillows which was as bad as the previous ones . So we found a small cushion and used it as pillow . I asked the management to look into this issue and he gave me the address of a pillow shop nearby . While on their website, they are selling pillows with different sizes and thickness, why can’t they provide few for guests who ask for that ? !!! I am sure many people have the same problem and guests cannot carry their pillows around . Second reason , I think it is not hygienic to wash the cups in bathrooms and cups should be changed every day and be washed in dishwasher with hot water . Unfortunately, when I asked the housekeeping to change the cups in our room , he just washed them in bathroom and gave the same cups back . Not good in a very clean and hygienic hotel . The food in restaurant is fresh and tasty and very good . Breakfast is very good quality and variant and has vegetarian options. If they sort the problem of pillows and cups , this is the choice of a good hotel in London . The location is also very good near beautiful Regent Park and enjoyable walking area . Thank you very much to the hotel staff and hope to come back without carrying my pillow.

Hotel's Favourite
My first stay in many years at the Marriott Regents Park. what a pleasant surprise. The hotel seems to be fully booked but still service is excellent and very generous. Rooms are specious and the one i got facing King Henry’s Rd has a beautiful view of London and very quite. Room was cleaned to a very high standard, good water pressure in the shower though it is top floor. Very generous breakfast, nice executive lounge with most friendly and kind team working extra hard but still very friendly and willing to accommodate any request. Benedetta was exceptionally helpful and easy to spot that it is very important for her to keep guests happy. What a nice attitude to have. Marriott should be proud of having such a team member. Gym is well equipped and comfortable. A good word and many compliment to Lydia Schulz of taking care of my booking and being so helpful, kind and considerate. Answer to all of my requests was positive be it late check out, extra bath amenities, keeping deliveries etc ( and i admit to be very difficult guest to please …) Nice to see a Marriott property that honors Ambassador members’ benefits in such nice, generous and kind manner. You gain quite rightfully my trust My stay exceed any expectations and no doubt i will be back soon.

The primary thing I was searching for in London was the room size for which Marriott Regents Park is a perfect example. After arriving we realized this hotel is the preferred choice for esteemed guests including New Zealand Rugby Team. I had the opportunity to witness the kind hospitality of the staff especially both day and night stewards at the Lobby. They were always on their feet. The day I arrived, there was a Metro strike in London. These gentlemen were super proactive in arranging the taxi and holding them for us. Not to mention, Carulccios, my favorite restaurant in London serves fantastic breakfast. Next time when I'm in London, I'm definitely going to stay here again.

A group of us were in town from the States for a family event and chose this Marriott because it was literally two blocks away from our London relatives' house in Primrose Hill . The room prices were literally almost double than another, much older hotel in the same area that didn't offer the same atmosphere and upgraded rooms that the Marriott does. So if the things I mention justify the higher price, then this may be good option to consider. Location: This is on the corner of Adelaide and King Henry's road in what is mostly a residential neighborhood. Of course, this is still Central London so traffic and sirens can be heard at all hours of day and night. If you love to walk, it's about 6-8 blocks to the top of Primrose Hill and the lovely cafes and restaurants in Primrose Hill. Regent's Park can be accessed from Primrose Hill as well as the London Zoo. If the world is your "oyster card" you're a five block walk from the Swiss Cottage Jubilee tube station or any buses along Finchley Road to take you literally anywhere you want to go in London. The tube lines may appear confusing but are actually pretty easy to navigate. Just Google transport of London for specific directions. Finchley Road is the Swiss Cottage high street with some restaurants, grocery stores, and a few gift shops. it's about a 1-1/2 mile walk to Camdentown or take the bus that stops across the street on Adelaide Road to Camdentown. Service: I found the front desk, bell captain, and security personnel extremely friendly and helpful. A big shout out to Delancy, a customer service supervisor who was able to assist and iron out a few issues including a room charge discrepancy between what I booked directly through Marriott and daily room rate the property itself was charging. (not talking about dollar to pound exchange rate.) Tip: keep your email booking confirmation with price on your phone. Housekeeping/front desk prompt in delivering a refill of cookies. :) The small lobby is a bustling place with a few tables and chairs scattered about. There is a full bar in the lobby and the restaurant is Carluccio's. (more on that later.) This may only be done on weekdays but in late afternoon they set up a small station with edible treats for their guests. Rooms: I will comment on rooms 505 and 450: Both are corner units with a small balcony, 2 double beds and nearly identical with a few exceptions I'll address in a bit. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. There are both sheers and pretty good black out drapes over the windows. There was ample hanging space. Drawers were limited to one deep and two shallow. There are two chairs and a table along with an in room safe, kettle, instant coffee, teas, and biscuits. Bottled water is stocked in the small refrigerator. Alas, no microwave. Shower amenities were top notch. Personally, I like a very well lit room and the few floor lamps didn't shed as much light as I would have preferred. But there were individual reading lights above each of the double beds which was helpful. Bathroom, view, and outside noise differences: Room 505 had a larger bathroom with a good size walk in shower. This room is located on the corner of Adelaide and King Henry Roads so there was always some street noise albeit somewhat muffled. But, there is a nice night view of The London Eye and the skyline along the Thames. Room 450 had a smaller bathroom with a rather high tub with shower. The height of the tub could be difficult entering if you have certain mobility issues and- word of caution - was very slippery going in and out. Also, the bathroom door automatically closes (very inconvenient) and requires a waste can to keep it propped open. This room faced King Henry Road and the entrance to the property and was quieter. Only "view" was of the houses across the street but was still pleasant. Gym and indoor pool: We didn't use either but nice to know they're there. I'm pretty sure there is a steam room but no hot tub. Carluccio's: I did not partake of the $20.00 breakfast buffet but my cousin did it daily because it was included in his rate as a long term guest (he stayed 2 weeks). it's a large spread that includes smoked salmon, an omelette station, and an array of offerings. I did have dinner there and found the food good and prices reasonable. Other tips: If you're not afraid of exploring Swiss Cottage, there is a small community theatre next to the Jubilee tube station that may have a performance while you're in town. Don't know whether this is year round but during the day in front of the theatre you can find Farmer's Market food vendors selling baked goods, cheeses, coffees, and prepared meals from Chinese to falafels. (no worries about getting ill from street food.) You can also cross over to Finchley Road for McDonald's or pick up freshly baked breads/pastry or other prepared "take away" options from Marks & Spencer or venture further down Finchley to the Waitrose, Aldi, or Sainsbury grocery stores. Bottom line: If budget was not a consideration I'd love to stay here again when I return to London next year. However, since budget IS a consideration, looking like husband and I will opt for the more provincial, less expensive property down the street.

Surprised to see my booking cancelled a couple of days ago because their payment systems apparently can't take payment from my credit cards which have been fine for hotels for 7 nights either side of this stay. Hotel attitude was decidedly unfriendly and seemed to miss that point that as I've stayed with Marriott over 600 nights before without issue and have assured them that my card provider says it's fine that the issue might be with them.

The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. There was a full range of refreshments. The bathrooms are clean. The customer service on the reception was good but breakfast is actually not brilliant. My daughter has an allergy but food is thrown together with no care about contamination. Staff will whip your plate away and we had to fight to say we had paid for breakfast. Please avoid if you have any food allergies. Think we picked a bad weekend. Its a great location and the parking was useful.

Very mediocre hotel . Rooms are very dark and dull and depressing - tiny bathroom space . Doors have no mechanism to close quietly so they all slam like someone slammed on purpose . Worst of all Rooms are only Cleaned from 3-6 so if you go Out in the morning and Wish to come home and rest in the afternoon you have to know that your room is going to be exactly how it is when you left it in the morning. One morning I especially asked the concierge on duty to clean my room between 9 and 4 PM as I was going to a funeral I knew I would be exhausted when I came back and nothing had been done. The lady was very sweet and tried to help me but there was nobody around to clean. The staff a very sweet but inexperienced and not quite Four star quality . The restaurant Carlucci‘s has a nice food but we ordered our drinks before the food and had to wait 40 minutes for the drinks to come and then another 10 minutes for the glasses to come. I have a feeling this is a training hotel for Marriott Bon Voy staff and I’m very disappointed. Left a day early whilst paying in full out of disappointment.

The hotel is in a good location and rooms are modern/spacious. However, these are the only positives. Our TV in the room did not work for the whole weekend and when we reported to reception we were told it was a local issue so they could not help. The rooms was very warm and air con did not work to cool it down (just blew it hot air). Breakfast is poor quality and not worth the cost. Unfortunately, we left our disabled daughter’s therapy teddy bear in our room when we checked out (our mistake). We have contacted the hotel and Marriott several times by email, web form and telephone to ask them investigate. Every time we have been promised a call back from the executive team, two weeks on we have heard nothing. It is frustrating that we have been ignored and no one feels that our situation warrants a call back. Marriott prides itself as being a quality, trustworthy hotel chain but this is clearly not the case. Staff have shown little understanding or empathy. My advice is to avoid - there are nicer hotels in London that offer a better service and care about their customer’s needs and concerns, rather than ignoring them!

Ordered room service on a Thursday evening at 7pm. Was told to wait 35 minutes but it hadn't come after 90. At 8:45pm the wrong food came. My kids went to bed hungry. Didn't expect a five-star hotel would be this disappointing.

The reception and lobby operate like a train station, lots of people arriving and leaving arround the clock.the lobby is small and crowded, so you can not simply sitting and enjoying the bar. Breakfast buffee is somewhat less crowded and there's fine verity of food. We got a suite on the 4th floor,a fine large room, with lots of furniture, but the storage places for clothes almost non existing. It is as if the closet, open one , is only planed for buissnessmen, who hang their suits! Not enough light above the mirror for a woman, to put some makeup. Bathroom good size but the door is not closing easily. The taxi/bolt sevice is awful.we had to wait for a cab 15 to 20 minutes, mayby the location is problematic, and walking to the nearest tube swiss cotage, took ne 12 minutes. The staff was very nice and helpfull!
