Stayed one night for our 21st Wedding anniversary. I have travelled the world for many years with the Oil industry and was fortunate to stay in many very nice Hotels in many countries but this was without doubt the best Hotel experience I have ever had. We arrived early expecting to leave our bags and return at check-in time. We were told we could check-in to the booked room immediately but could have an upgraded room if we waited a short time, they called us before 3pm to say the was room ready. A newly refurbished 7th floor room with a fantastic view of the London skyline. A lovely lady called Claudia showed us up to our room. We had lunch in Claridges Bar and the Pizza was excellent (Thanks Mario). Going to the theatre on the evening and unable to get a taxi due to the London Fashion awards the doorman arranged the Hotel car for us which I was very grateful for as I have a bad hip. Thanks John we really appreciated that. We had afternoon tea the next day which was fantastic, Thanks Milla (Camilla from Italy) you were marvellous. .I loved the ambiance of the Foyer restaurant and it felt like I was in the set of Poirot. All in all a fabulous experience and I have to say im a little cynical normally and not easily pleased but I could not criticise anything or anybody. I have mentioned some staff by name who helped us but I have to say all the staff are excellent and some staff have been there for many years, this is a very well run Hotel. Keep it up and dont change anything.

Fantastic celebratory weekend at Claridge's. Johanna the Front Office Manager really went above and beyond in her customer service and ensured that it was a birthday to remember. Front desk were sublime during our 1 night stay, and all team members we came into contact with were a joy to interact with, including the breakfast room and The Fumoir Bar were we enjoyed some delicious cocktails. Our bedroom was pristine, with all the luxury items one would come to expect of such an establishment. It is fair to say, even though we work in the industry ourselves, our Davies Junior Suite really did blow us away, and the Housekeeping/Maintenance Team clearly look after their bedroom product. 5* Luxury at it's finest. Thank you to all the amazing Claridge's team, we will certainly be back! Vanessa and James

We never get tired of Claridges, it is our regular home from home when we need to be in London. From the moment we arrive we feel relaxed and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble. The bar is always stocked with an amazing variety of drinks and Denis and his team will surprise and delight you with whatever taste takes your fancy. We always sleep well at Claridges, the rooms are very spacious and thoroughly clean, the bed is extremely comfortable. If I had a grumble, it would be that the Foyer Restaurant has stopped doing Welsh Rarebit. It always used to be the best Welsh Rarebit in the world, even better than in Wales!

Response from Paul Jackson, General Manager at Claridge's
Responded 6 days ago
Dear E672GSkevins, It was a pleasure to welcome you back to Claridge’s recently and thank you for your lovely review and kind words, which I have shared with the entire team and with Denis (and his team), in particular. I am pleased to add that although Welsh Rarebit is not printed on our menus, it is always available on request and Martyn Nail and his brigade will prepare it ‘a la minute’ – the same is true for kippers and kedgeree. We look forward to welcoming you back to Claridge’s on your next trip to London and to you being able to enjoy Welsh rarebit during your sojourn. With best regards, Paul Jackson General Manager
