Opened by renowned hotelier Cesar Ritz in 1906, The Ritz today still retains all the glamour and excitement synonymous with this world famous hotel. Perfectly located in a landmark position on Piccadilly in the heart of London's West End, the 136 room luxury hotel is ideally placed to suit both business and leisure visitors alike. Now totaling 111 bedrooms and 25 suites, the elegant rooms combine the original Louis XVI style interiors with modern day technology. Considered by many to be one of the most beautiful rooms in the world, The Michelin-starred Ritz Restaurant features a magnificent frescoed ceiling with west facing windows overlooking the Terrace, the Italian Garden and Green Park beyond. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, with a Dinner Dance on Friday and Saturdays. The Palm Court restaurant offers, most famously, daily Afternoon Tea service which has been popular since the hotel first opened. The stylishly updated Rivoli Bar was designed by Tessa Kennedy and features Art Deco styled interiors. Open daily with a bar menu. Private dining facilities at William Kent House, the 18th century mansion house at The Ritz, include an exquisite selection of banquet rooms and suites. Possibly the most elegant and opulent private rooms in London, William Kent House offers the perfect venue for private receptions, weddings, boardroom meetings, lunches, dinners and gala events. The Ritz London is a Grade II star listed building and in 2002 became the first hotel to receive the Royal Warrant from his Royal Highness The Prince of Wales for banqueting and catering services.

The sheer style and attention to detail is such a joy. The staff seem to love working there and service is attentive without being fussy. Fortunate to stay there before Christmas when the decorations took it up another level. To have breakfast in the main dining room was as good as it gets. The level of service is set so high that when something is not right it is painfully noticeable. 3 years ago we had problems in the bar waiting for 25 minutes for a glass of wine. Last week we waited a similar amount of time for a couple of whiskies when it was pretty quiet. To be fair the girl was very apologetic and dealt really well with it. But on both occasions it was put down to making cocktails. Not a excuse and surely the simple drinks can be prepared by anyone and immediately. As you ask, also I fear breakfast on the last day was poor. I waited 30 minutes for an English breakfast and when it came it was not right. Did not alter the overall impression and shows that they are fallible after all!

We came for an overnight stay with meal and breakfast with 7 other friends. We were overwhelmed with everything from the beginning. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The rooms were very large and sumptuously decorated. The meal was so tasty and extra special and the cocktails were out of this world. Breakfast was a leisurely affair with the most superb selection. We all agreed it was a special occasion and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Highly recommend to everyone

What an amazing afternoon tea experience! Fantastic service and beautiful sandwiches, scones and pastries. The champagne added that extra je ne sais quoi. We felt like we were in a magical Christmas fairytale in the midst of the most beautifully decorated grand hotel! Cannot wait to come back! 👏
