What can I say apart from brilliant! Had the most amazing time. We even got upgraded to the Cave room. The team were fabulous went out of their way to help us. Special thanks to Fearne, Faye and Mel, myself and my friend drove them mad with emails and phone calls but they just kept helping us. The room was amazing. Made our weekend extra special. Thank you so much. Can’t wait to stay again x

This is a beautifully designed hotel, great location. Check in was easy and quick. The room itself was great and spacious. I would definitely recommend staying here. We will definitely be returning. As it was my birthday whilst we was staying here, we was gifted with a bottle of Prosecco and a cake selection which was a lovely gesture. Thank you to Melanie who organised this for us. I can’t wait until I stay here again.

We had an amazing time in the Cave Suite for a hen party for around 20 hens. The room is fantastic - much more impressive and bigger than it looked on the photos we were sent. The 2 hot tubs are fantastic and the shower and toilet facilities are spacious and private. On arrival we parked in the car park of The Shankly and had a full car load of Prosecco, water, snacks and hen stuff for 3 of us to carry across the road to the Dixie Dean. The gentleman on reception was brilliant - the bell boys at The Shankly were all busy checking in other hen parties and he came across the road to the car park and helped us carry everything across to the room, taking all the heavy stuff! We couldn’t have been more grateful. Rubbish (there was lots of it!) was cleared daily and the staff were helpful without being intrusive - it really was our own little oasis for the weekend. A fantastic experience and all the hens absolutely loved it.

Hello Lesley Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a fantastic review for us all here at The Dixie Dean Hotel. All our Cave rooms are absolutely gorgeous and completely different to the rest of our hotel The largest cave where you stayed is really stunning and hugely popular. The hot tubs are amazing and the separate shower areas are very impressive. I will pass on your kind words to our housekeeping team, they work very hard to keep our beautiful building spotless. I'm so pleased you all had an amazing time and look forward to welcoming you all back to see us again soon. Kind Regards Melanie Prentice Guest Relations Director The Dixie Dean Hotel

Absolutely fabulous with the most friendly staff!!! Myself and my fiancé spent a night in the Dixie Dean on Friday 26th November, we came as a surprise trip for my fiancé’s 30th birthday. On arrival we were greeted by Fern who I had been speaking to on the phone prior to staying, fern was absolutely amazing, nothing was too much to ask she really is a credit to the hotel! The room was perfect!! I requested a Blue room as it was for my (male) fiancé. The jacuzzi bath was fab, the beds were comfy and the carpet was fresh and bouncy which gave it that luxury feel. Originally I booked a standard luxury room but I managed to upgrade the room thanks to a lovely lady called Alex G, she used WhatsApp to send me videos of the room which was soooo helpful and personal. Thank you Alex G!! We had lunch and drinks in the bastion (Over in the Shankly, sister hotel) which was really nice, a slight criticism is there were plenty of staff but drinks and service was slow, they also forgot about our drinks oops. We still loved it! On the evening we went to alma De Cuba, despite contacting them personally they couldn’t offer me a table as there were only two of us but on arrival at the hotel Fern had managed to get us guest list entry, with a table 😊 She really is fab! Overall we absolutely loved over stay, everyone was so friendly and welcoming! We have already said that we will be returning very soon 😊. Next time we want to stay at the Shankly (Same hotel group, directly opposite) the rooms are also amazing and the Shankly hotel lobby is just breathtaking 🙌🏼🙌🏼 It was really nice to see familiar faces from the series “The Grand Party Hotel” on itv Player, we saw the owner and managers in the bastion all working together it was really nice. The Shankly and Dixie have such a homely feel like everyone is one big family! Thank you again Fern and everyone who made our stay special for us, can’t wait to return! Connie xx

Hello Connie Wow, what an amazing review! Thank you so much for taking the time to write one for us here at The Dixie Dean Hotel. I will pass on your kind comments to Fearn, she is a highly valued member of our staff team who goes above and beyond to ensure all our guests have an amazing time. All our rooms are stunning with beautiful furnishing throughout, but our blue rooms are a personal favorite of mine. Our jacuzzi baths are a very popular edition to our rooms. I'm so pleased to hear that Alex was able to to WhatsApp your choice of rooms to help you decide what fitted best to your theme. Alex is a new member of our team who is really fitting into our dedicated team really well. We look forward to welcoming you back to see us all again very soon. There was 7/8 of us for a birthday night out, and this was the perfect location and venue for us all. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Rooms were spacious and facilities were spot on. Alice on the front forced me to write a review or in her words “hunt me down if we didn’t”. Don’t sack her though it was all in banter xoxo
