We made the booking for a wedding at easter 2019, but after three cancellations due to Covid we finally made it. Hotel management to their credit, kept everything to the original booking. The reception was the middle or our three night stay, the meal and service made it a really fantastic day. Food was great for the whole weekend, and the rooms very clean and comfortable, but a big thank you to the staff, for their friendliness and professionalism in helping make this a memorable weekend. I was Best man at my Dads wedding and the whole party stayed for two nights with the wedding function also being held at the Sheraton Peter, Liz (the owner) and team were absolutely excellent from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble, they put immense effort into making sure that things ran smoothly on the day (which they did) Highly recommend this venue to anyone thinking of having a wedding in Blackpool Thanks again Peter, Liz and the team at the Sheraton

We have just arrived home from a two night stay at this hotel and are glad to be home. We have stayed here before and were really looking forward to our stay but were quite disappointed. My brother is in a wheelchair and when my parents booked the hotel they explained and asked for an accessible room which they got and the room was very nice. My room however was very dusty and had a bad smell,I think they needed to put the heating on because it smelt very damp and was quite cold. When we checked in we were asked what time we would like our evening meal and we explained that we would need a table with easy access due to the wheelchair, we didn’t get this in fact my brother was made to feel like an inconvenience by the head of the restaurant and her deputy. They tried to put us on a table which was very difficult to get to and when I explained we asked for easy access she said it is it just his wheelchair is big! No wheelchair would have been able to get in the gap they expected us to! After some very awkward sorry’s asking guests who were eating to move out of the way we finally got seated and then worried about the rest of the evening if my brother needed to get to the toilet (which were also awkward to access). The next day we were then told by the deputy in the dinning room if we come back we need to say that the wheelchair is big! The wheelchair is a normal wheelchair and I said to her that common sense is to put customers who have mobility problems in easy assess places. The problem is that the layout of the restaurant is poor and so many tables squeezed in that even if you can walk easily you have to squeeze through gaps not good with these covid times! I can honestly say that the waiting and bar staff were absolutely lovely and worked very hard, the food was just ok and the entertainment was very good. The pool was closed and the hotel had a wedding function on while we stayed which took over one of the lounge areas (maybe should be mentioned at the time of booking as it made the other lounge extremely busy). I think that the restaurant manager and her deputy need some training on accessibility issues and to be made aware on how their actions can make people feel who have to face challenges everyday living with a disability without making them feel uncomfortable and unimportant, as that’s how you made my brother feel.

Just returned from this Hotel and I must say it is one of the best Hotels I have stayed in . On a Breaks to Go trip with wife, her two sisters and their husbands had a terrific time partly due to this Hotel. Rooms were recently renovated, spotless and well attended. Live entertainment each night which was of a high standard. Food was excellent with a good choice. Staff very helpful and cheerful. I don't want to praise this Hotel too much as I might not get a room the next time I go due to influx of guests.Highly recommended excellent location perfect for tram or bus in any direction you wish to travel
