Myself and 7 friends were at the hotel last week on a turkey and tinsel midweek break. Everything was spot on bedrooms , food, entertainment, trips. Special mention to Eva our waitress who never once got our orders wrong ( quite difficult with eight over seventies all talking at the same time). Only disappointment was that Nigel wasn't around because of a hip operation but the operations manager did an excellent job. Thankyou Elgin see you in February x

My friend and I booked a Monday to Friday stay at the Elgin Hotel Blackpool, I requested bedrooms away from entertainment noise. We were given two extremely nice rooms on the second floor but unfortunately we could still hear the entertainment. After two nights of having interrupted sleep I saw Amanda the manager who after a great deal of trouble managed to get us two rooms at their sister hotel the Sheraton. Our cases were moved over by the staff for which we were very grateful, we found everything at the Elgin first class, The hotel was warm and the decor very good, The staff were superb we could not fault them, nothing was too much trouble. We were so reassured by the prompt attention of Amanda we would not hesitate to recommend the Elgin and will certainly revisit. The sister hotel the Sheraton was also to be recommended, I would say two of the best value for money hotels in Blackpool.

Our second time back at the Elgin Hotel after the lockdowns. So very nice to get back and meet up with the very friendly staff again, some of the staff have worked at the Elgin for many years, the Chef Gary has been serving great food for over 33 years. The regular staff who have worked extra hard to keep the quality there in spite of all the covid challenges, it is a credit to them. Elgin Hotel for great food, friendly, efficient staff, a warm and clean hotel, with good entertainment nightly, what else would you want from a hotel? If you haven't stayed at the Elgin Hotel, give it a try, you won't be disappointed, and you will, no doubt, join the regular guests that stay at the Elgin time and time again. Well done to the 'Elgo team' for making our recent stay an absolute enjoyable pleasure. We will see you again soon.

Hi Les Many thanks for your very kind review and magnanimous review. Particularly thanks for all your complements with regards to the staff. We are indeed very fortunate to have such a great team who have been here so long with Gary, Gary, Tom, Amanda, Amy, Garry and Beth all having been here over 2 decades. It has been tough for all of us but the team have been amazing in rising to the challenge. I know your comments will be very much appreciated. All the Very Best for the Festive Season. See you in January! Nigel

Hi Frank How good to hear from you and welcome yourself and Kate back to the hotel. Sadly, I think I must have missed you as I've been away from work having a hip operation last week and now trying to 'rest-up'! Absolutely delighted that you enjoyed your stay - would love to see you on a return visit - please give me a ring before you book and I'll try to ensure that I'm around. Very Best Wishes, Nigel

Stayed at the Elgin for 1 night 7th november with my partner. Decided to book as my parents were staying that night so wanted to join them for a night away. My parents have stayed on a few previous occasions and always say how they enjoy it which is why we decided to join them. Great value with their special sunday night price for bed, breakfast and evening meal. All staff were very friendly and helpful, hotel was very clean, food was excellent and we really enjoyed the entertainment including the quiz even though we didn't do very well in it. Drink prices are also very reasonable. Glad my parents reccomended the Elgin and will definately be returning. Thanks to all of Team Elgo
