We stayed for a mountain biking trip at nearby Whinlatter - a lovely hostel and perfect for our needs. It’s homely, clean, comfortable and in a great location. The staff were very welcoming and happy to help. Bike facilities and storage are great. Hopefully will be returning for another stay again soon!

We stayed for two nights (three adults on a walking break). The hostel was relaxed and friendly. Everywhere was spotless, the rooms are comfortable, the showers are great. The kitchen had everything you would need. Totally recommend.

Fab 1 night stay. We stopped for one night and the check in was quick, the staff were helpful and very friendly. The hostel was fresh and spotless. We stopped in a bedroom for 6 people and it was spacious and clean. Plenty of storage, lots of plug sockets and night lights on each bed. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was modern good size with a Powerful shower and very clean. The kitchen was clean and well equipped and a good size. It was great that we could use the kitchen as some hostel are not allowing shared spaces to be used. Plenty of hand sanitizer and cleaning products to use. When we stayed it was quiet and we got a good nights sleep. The bike storage area and drying room are clean and have everything you could need. A bonus for all our wet swim clothes etc. We will be back. Thank you.

We have just had the most amazing stay here for 4 nights. The couple who own it are just the nicest people you can ask to meet. They went above and beyond to make mine and my daughters stay as special as it was. Super friendly, polite, helpful and incredible customer service. I highly recommend staying her with family but also on your own... I am definitely going to be back with my daughters and as I like travelling on my own I’ll be back on my own too. Parking right out or on the drive which was just an amazing added bonus. Thank you so much for the memories we’ve made. See you again soon.

A great shower, a comfortable bed, drying room, secure bike storage all included in great price. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, with a short walk to town where you can find pubs, takeaways and restaurants. The COVID-19 precautions were excellent, with hand-sanitiser provided, mask policy in place. We were given a friendly welcome, and some local advice on some good places to eat and drink.
