Family of 5. We’ve been visiting Center Parcs every year once or twice a year since our eldest done was 6 months old, he’s 12 now! We always visit Whinfell Forest (we’ve vistited Sherwood once) and it never gets boring!! We missed our holiday last year due to COVID so we were a bit nervous about visiting this year as we didn’t know what it’d be like following the resent restrictions being lifted. We had a fantastic time! We managed to book swimming and some of the activities that our children wanted to do. We felt very safe and the cleanliness was brilliant. We only ate out once at the pancake house and the service was brilliant 🤩 all the staff on the site made us feel well looked after and we had an lovely mid week break, the only regret is that we didn’t book for 7 days as we say this every time we leave 5 days isn’t enough!! We have already re-booked to come back in November for a weekend and we can’t wait!

This is the second time we’ve stayed in one of these fabulous lodges. A beautiful spacious 4 double bedroom lodge. All en-suite bedrooms with balcony. Plenty of space both inside the lodge and outside. An absolute beautiful place to stay. We went with friends and found the accommodation perfect for our two families. Plenty to do without even leaving the lodge with the games room and hot tub and yet still all the rest of Centre Parcs to explore and enjoy Thoroughly recommend. At Whinfell we even had designated parking for two cars right outside the lodge.

An amazing family-friendly place to holiday. We were only there for a long weekend but it felt like we have been away for longer. Filled our days with loads of activities, on and off the water, as well as beautiful walks around the parc. Subtropical Swimming pool is a great (free) way to spend a couple of hours. Book ahead for eating out, all your activities, as well as swimming, which is easily done through the website. Staff were always friendly and well informed. We thoroughly enjoyed our family time. Thank you Centre Parcs.

Having not had a holiday due to the pandemic. We were happy to book lots of activities and not think about the cost this year. We were just really looking forward to getting away and doing as much as we could. Fortunately for us we picked the hottest week of the year. The cherry on the cake! I had prebooked all our restaurants and activities. I booked these about 7am, so well before I received my email. Most of these were outdoors, so that turned out great for us. The shade of the trees meant it wasn't too hot for tennis, cycling etc. We have been returning to Center parcs for years and always like to try something new. This year we did Segways. It was fab, some might say a bit pricey but it was a really good family memory. Shout out to Jonathan, our instructor, he was great, really supportive. The aerial adventure had been extended since we last visited and now has a zip wire across the lake. My son and his dad really enjoyed it. Obviously there were the restrictions on the subtropical paradise and for good reason, which were fine - less busy, less queues for the slides. Not sure why the rapids were so slow though! However, I did miss the flexibility of just going to the pool when you wanted and fitting it around booked activities. The break became much more structured than usual, so I hope in the long-term it reverts back. Covid did take its toll on staffing with Rajinda Pradesh closed for the week and the Sports Cafe closed early at 8pm every night. The seating area upstairs was closed for the whole period. Major blow as this has always been somewhere to sit off. Luckily the good weather made this less noticeable but it did mean for the pool we had booked for the evening, there was nowhere to get a drink. My daughter and I enjoyed another spa session at Aqua Sana. It's a beautiful spa and well worth the money for the 3 hour session. We did a free 20 min well-being session with Robin, it was like a mini facial which added to the experience and it was great weather for the outdoor pool. Lots more picnic benches around the lake, so great for families to keep the lunch costs down. It was lovely to be back in the forest and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
