Absolutely superb from beginning to end . What a lovely place this is. So warm and welcoming and relaxing! Absolutely perfect The rooms are lovely and attention to detail is second to none. There’s nothing more anyone could wish for. Beautiful rooms , bathrooms and gorgeous views. We had the Rothay room with a super king bed, an amazing shower room and beautiful views to Helm Crag at the rear of the house Jackie is a lovely lady and even gave me a gift whilst I was there . She is warm and welcoming and can’t do enough for you and everything is perfect. The breakfast is lovely with a great choice and excellent service in a beautiful dining room. We really enjoyed our stay and everything was absolutely perfect

It’s all in the title. Raise view is simply amazing. We booked last year for my birthday, but had to postpone because of covid and it was well worth the wait. Jacky is the perfect host and everything is pristinely clean and cosy. We stayed in the Silver How suite - all 3 windows have a stunning view and you can soak in the bath with views to the countryside. Every detail has been thought of including complimentary Sherry in the room and fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious, definitely recommend a cooked breakfast with local produce, also the fresh fruit and porridge equally as delicious. The other lovely factor to this property is that a beautiful comfortable lounge to sit in, which some b&b’s don’t have. My husband and I shared a bottle of Prosecco in the lounge for my birthday, much nicer than having it in the bedroom. Sadly we didn’t visit any of the area because we walked on both days from the house, so didn’t even use the car, which was really lovely and Grasmere alone was nice to walk round. This is the longest review I’ve ever done, because so many positive things to say! Thank you Jacky

This is a great place to stay. We stayed here on recommendation and other guests we met during our visit stated that they were returning visitors. I expect Jacky gets a lot of bookings on recommendation. Staff very friendly - right from Jacky’s first contact after booking, to arrival, and during the entire stay. Room very pleasant and cosy. Breakfast very good. Jacky also helped us with some walking routes and restaurant recommendations. Can’t fault the stay.

What an amazing B and B ,.We stayed in The Rothey Suite which has the wow factor in every aspect .The decor ,furnishings ,the most comfortable bed and pillows ! , bathroom and shower better than a 5 star hotel ,mini bar ,fridge ,and amazing views ,and so quiet and peaceful . What makes Raise View so special is Jacky , from the warm welcome on arrival ,her exceptional hospitality ensuring everything you need is catered for and her amazing breakfasts ,I’ve never looked forward to a breakfast as much as at Raise View .Despite the dreadful weather ,heavy rain and flooding this week our stay at Raise View was fabulous and we are so pleased we have found such an an amazing place to stay. We look forward to returning hopefully with better weather next time .

Didn't know what to expect having never stayed in a B&B before, but my goodness this was just lovely, beautifully furnished, more like a small boutique hotel, which is right up our street. We had the Silver Howe Suite which was beautifully appointed with a lovely large bathroom and seperate bath (wait until you see the view soaking in the tub!) Loved the little touch of a sherry decanter in the room 👌 Jacky is very accommodating and friendly, she really cares about her guest experience, no wonder you have to book well in advance to get a room here. We will most certainly be returning, in fact already booked - thank you Jacky for a relaxing and memorable stay. PS: great breakfast too!
