I wanted to express my gratitude to all the staff members of the hotel. From the housekeeping staff to the bar staff. However, this review is solely based on my gratitude to Erin! As I’m in a temporary accommodation, at first I was very concerned about my position whilst struggling with my mental health. Despite going through a tough time, Erin was always there to stop and ask how me and my wife are. She would inspire me and motivate me when I was looking for work. Fast-forward, now I’ve got a job I tend to travel a lot. During the day I was asked to change rooms, my wife who was pregnant was struggling to pick up our bags. Erin went out of her way to to make sure my wife didn’t overdo anything. Erin if you’re reading this, you are a Legend! I’m so grateful for all the help you’ve given us, I’m certain other customers will feel the same way!

I don't often leave feedback, as I don't feel much comes from it, but the service I have received during my time at Chatham Travelodge has been made quite the experience. Especially Erin who I've been assisted by a lot of the time. She's always gone above and beyond even times when you can tell the hotel is either under staffed or very busy a request asked is never too much for her. Erin has made my time here very enjoyable despite my families unfortunate circumstances. She's always friendly and willing to help! I'm sure she must be a high up member of management as her service is one of the best I have ever experienced. Please ensure this feedback is passed onto Erin (I hope I've spelt her name correct) and I want to add I hope she continues to be a breath of fresh air and never stops smiling! Thank-you Erin for all your support.

Hotel advertised a 24 hour bar service, but be warned, if you arrive back ( 11pm) and fancy a quiet drink before bed, don’t be susprised to find the staff all but disappeared and when they do show up are disinterested and rude. It was sorted in the end ,but left us feeling upset and compromised.

A stones throw from the entrance of the Naval Dock yard, shopping centre across the road and a bus stop outside the Hotel into town centre which runs very frequently or if you would like a walk into town. First part along the main road then you can cut in alongside the river Medway along a very pleasant pathway.

Although the hotel is basic it was more than adequate for an one night stay. Saying that the room was clean and the bed extremely comfortable. A good range of food available at breakfast that was quickly replenished

My room was on the 4th floor - above the main entrance. Where all the smokers hang out. Seems like despite the rain the party was really happening last night until past midnight outside the main entrance. With really poorly fitted/designed windows there was no shutting out the noise…. Then there was the 6am (or earlier perhaps?) rubbish collection, the Bidfood catering delivery and then the hotel linen service delivery….I appreciate hotels have to get stuff delivered, but delivered to the main entrance? Anyway - room was very bland - like everything that could be stolen had been stolen. Although it did have a plug in convector heater - the £20 from B&Q variety! Bathroom was grim - dirty round stainless steel sink reminiscent of Prisoner Cell Block H and decaying woodwork, mouldy silicone and toilet that didn’t flush properly. Clean towels! Yippee!!! Oh and I did have the privilege of 2 half empty toilet rolls supplied… Not forgetting the room came equipped with its own tinnitus! The fan in the bathroom never shut down… For £76 for 1 person for 1 night this was a joke. This is supposed to be a hotel not a run down hostel run on charity donations. Interesting to see one of the other inmates carrying a microwave up to his room in the lift. Maybe it is a hostel…? Never again! First impression? See the picture. It is what it looks like. Which is a real shame.

Stayed here with my partner and baby… if I knew how dirty the rooms were I DEFINITELY wouldn’t have booked this hotel. There were stains up the corridor walls, the lift smelled like weed, the bathrooms are disgusting! The cleaners need sacking!! Not a sign of bleach used to clean! The toilet wouldn’t flush so moved rooms… the next room was just as dirty, the little was gross.. socks from previous guests under the bed… and banging noises and slamming room doors at 12 - 3am!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Went with members of the local model boat club, which used the Mast Pond, a short walking distance from the hotel. We usually meet on Sunday mornings. Hotel bedrooms not required, only the warm lounge. Staff including Jade & Mary vey nice & helpful.
