We really only used the Hotel for a bed for the night before we went on a cruise. All meals we went out as there is a huge shopping center opposite. We have the top floor with our Window over looking the area where the boat show was being set up. We were on an RCA ship so it was a 5 minute walk then you are at the terminal. From hotel room to a bar on the ship... 20 minutes. Great moom great location...

Good rooms, shower tiny. No bar of soap. Just the horrid squidgy bottles of sticky gooey gunge!. Moreover only shampoo dispenser worked. The charge you 15 pounsa for an outside parking :-( It would be ok except for the price. Breakfast so so

This was my first time venturing out into the world after the pandemic and a coeliac diagnosis two years ago. The hotel was quite busy on the Friday when I checked in and only one lift was working, but that really was a small niggle. The lift was repaired by the time I returned to the hotel in the early evening. The restaurant was great when it came to catering to my gluten allergy. There were a few options, and the guy at the front of house went the extra mile to check if the fish was fried in the same oil as non-GF food. Unfortunately, that was the case, and I'd suggest that either provision is made for a separate fryer, or the GF designation is taken off that item on the menu. But there were other things I could have, so it wasn't really a problem. Breakfast was excellent. The lovely young lady at the front of house took my order and explained that the chef would prepare it in a GF-section of the kitchen, so I'd have a 15 minute wait. It really wasn't a problem and it was well worth the wait. Beautifully prepared, generous portion. Friendly service. The room was fine. I loved pulling back the curtains in the morning and seeing the massive cruise ships in port. Only quibble was the pillows, but I'm picky. Otherwise the room was nice and clean, and I appreciated the a/c. I would definitely stay here again.

Poor service, over worked staff, two tiny old elevators you would have to wait in line to get. And dirty dirty dirty. Yes it has been redecorated but still dirty. The glasses in the bathroom were disgusting, even the towels were not clean. The spoon I used at breakfast had food still caked on it. Needed a shower after I came out of that place.

The hotel is conveniently located at gate 8 for the docks. The staff is among the most polite we’ve encountered on our trip. What follows makes that meaningless. First, the credit card readers are very fickle and some work, some do not, requiring patrons to pay at the reception desk for a transaction. Keeping with that theme, only one of two tiny elevators work. By tiny, I mean two people and a couple of bags and it is full. The elevator seems to have its own sense of independence as it moves up or down regardless of what button was pushed on a particular floor. We actually lugged four large suitcases down four floors of stairs due to the wait. One gentleman waited 20 minutes for the lift. The beds are the most uncomfortable in the hospitality industry. This property should consider having a chiropractor on staff to work out the kinks from the horribly uncomfortable nights sleep. The property has zero trollies/carts for luggage. Considering many, if not most of the patrons are taking a cruise and arrive with multiple bags, the availability of a few trollies would be welcome. The property is relatively clean. The food is flavorful and beverage availability is decent. Do not count on walking to the City Cruise terminal for your cruise. Reserve a taxi at the hotel reception to take you there.

We stayed the night before a cruise . Room wasn’t we were expecting. Supposed to be an upgrade! Extra pillows that didn’t look the best up in the wardrobe. No slips on them and didn’t look the best . When asking if that was an upgrade we were assured it was , and told the rooms are due to be upgraded next year . That’s no good to us this year !

Very few of the management team seemed to have any experience. List of problems: Lift unreliable, Scratch marks on surface in bathroom, not hygienic, hot water not hot. room phone did not have identity next to any buttons, therefore unable to use it,this was reported but not dealt with. Corridors well warn need a paint job. The menu in the restaurant very similar to Premier Inn. We were informed that this Hotel is due for a complete refurbishment at the end of the year, in the meantime we have to make do. With these complaints we were reimbursed for one night. Never again plenty of other Hotels to choose from.

We were very happy with our room, meals eaten and found the staff all very friendly and helpful. We asked to be moved from our original room as it was right by the lifts. This was done quickly and without any fuss... 815 was very quiet... at the back of the hotel. We had a superb sunset the night we were there and could see the Queen Mary when we woke up. The room was a good size, great to be able to open the window. Very comfortable bed we slept like logs. Large enough for our 4 suitcases too! Only gripe... the shower was so high set... I couldn't reach it being a shortie!! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. We had a dinner b&b deal which was very good value. The food at dinner was piping hot, very attractively presented, generous in size and very tasty. Waitresses were very pleasant and we had a good laugh. Good choice at breakfast.... something to suit everyone. Hotel's only real problem it's ancient, small, so slow, rickety lifts!!! can't cope when the hotel is busy and as most people have large suitcases you have to wait ages to get in one! So easy to get to any of the cruise terminals too. We'd definitley go back.

Stayed here for two nights before getting on a cruise, it is quite close to all the cruise terminals. We had a two twin room, which was spacious enough, with a view of the port. Service was top notch, and the included breakfast was very good. It is also walkable to the mall and main areas of town, it was worth an extra day to explore the city.

We stayed here for two nights before going on the Queen Mary 2. The staff were absolutely the best. I had accidentally only booked one night and they were able to change my reservation, and give me a room with a view of the pier. It was wonderful to see the Queen Mary in dock in the morning. Breakfast was included and was very worth the price.
