Very nice room but fixed shower head was a disappointment as I don't wash my hair every day and had an awkward shower with my head back or forward to stop my hair getting wet. Shower try was slippery so caution advised. Room very noisy due to position so could not open the windows and let in fresh air at night but air conditioning kept the room cool. Beds very comfortable and lovely big fluffy towels At the price they charge it would have been better to include a breakfast so we eat out in the mornings.

All the staff at Ennios are SO incredibly helpful, it amazed me. I have never seen hospitality like this before

Our room was very nice: Clean, new, great AC (which was a real luxury) and the bathroom was great. When my partner mentioned she liked the toiletries, the next day, there were twice as many toiletries left in our room :) Very nice touch. Thank you :)

Despite COVID restrictions imposed on the hotel (by the government), the staff made their best efforts to make a nice breakfast for us and we really appreciated this

(Little note to the hotel: The rock music playing during breakfast was quite jarring first thing in the morning - there are plenty of better musical choices - or just no music at all at that time in the morning!)

When we arrived at the hotel (2pm), it was closed. This was odd... I know check-in isn't until 3pm and this IS just a small hotel (so don't expect a lobby etc), so this isn't a criticism; just an observation

I'm not sure about the price. The hotel seems quite expensive, but maybe that's just how much nice hotels cost :) We agreed 4 to 5 stars was fair

Overall a very good stay and thanks to the truly fantastic staff who deserve 10 out of 10 all day long!

Stayed here with my fiancee for her birthday. It was a very last minute booking and hotel were very accommodating to early check in and late check out. Room was an exec double and very spacious with super comfy bed and extremely clean and large bathroom. Everything was walking distance such as the town centre shops and restaurants etc. The room also had AC which was a godsend in the 34° heatwave! Plenty of amenities in the room including free bottled water which was a nice touch. I did ask the hotel to provide a small cake or something similar to mark my fiancée's birthday but unfortunately they were unable to accommodate at such short notice. Understandable but literally even a note would have been nice as other hotels have done! Nonetheless it was a fantastic stay and staff were also super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great too with good range of foods to choose from. Will definitely be back if in the Southampton area again!

Visited Ennios Boutique hotel in May 2022 for one night as going to the Engine Room that night. It was in a great location with the venue being a short walk away. It is close to the dock and about 10-15 minutes walk to the harbour where you will find places to eat.
Check in was easy and we had booked a car parking space (£7.95 for 24 hours) which is located at the back of the hotel. We were told that breakfast was included within our room rate but upon check out we were asked to pay for it.
The breakfast however was amazing and cooked perfectly....compliments to the chef!
The room was very clean and had all the usual amenities and a fully stocked mini bar fridge and complimentary tea and coffee's. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good sleep with no noise. Our room was at the back of the hotel and overlooked a ruin.
Nice little hotel and would use again if in Southampton.

Ennios Hotel is close to the harbour and it was perfect for us to catch our breath after a long flight from RSA before we boarded the QM2. The staff was super friendly and helped us with our luggage up the stairs to our rooms on the first floor. The rooms were lovely, bright and spacious. The bed was fabulous. Breakfast was excellent and the staff in the breakfast room just marvelous. It was my birthday, so they made sure that we had a good time.

This is a nice hotel but perhaps not for our age 70+. The first room we had faced the road and the IOW ferry was noisy a lot of the time, fortunately it has Air Conditioning so we were able to keep the windows closed. I asked if we could cj=hange. our room after the first night and FairPlay they arranged that for us, the second room at the back being much quieter. Though they had put no towels or amenities in the room which I thought was poor. The staff to a person were very attentive and sorted this out quickly. I was disappointed with breakfast which we have to pay for above the cost of the room which at £135 a night was. not cheap, on checking out we were told if we booked direct with the hotel and not through another website it would have been included. Parking is available for an extra cost.

When we arrived at Ennios we were a little frustrated having had a nightmare train journey. We were greeted by one of the management team whos calm and professional manner put us at ease,, WOW WOW this was the start of a fabulous experience. Our room (not huge) but more than adequate spotlessly clean and comfortable, good quality linens and furnishings, large TV plenty of tea and coffee. The bathroom was large and again spotless with good towels and nice toiletries, fabulous power shower. That evening we dined in the hotel restaurant WOW WOW award winning in every way food wine service atmosphere really enjoyable. The next treat was breakfast after a good nights sleep, we went down for breakfast fabulous choice everything freshly cooked and I mean freshly cooked treat start to the day. We had breakfast every morning, and we dined in the restaurant again on Sunday, again excellent, All management and staff were attentive and it is obvious they all care about every customer. One particular member of staff was JOSEPH who is in charge of breakfast service, a lovely young man who went out of his way to make breakfast a great start to each day, he also gave us lots of information to help our plans for each day Thank you all at Ennios.

We love the food at Ennio’s it is a fabulous restaurant, we now live out of town and were delighted to learn that we could also stay in their very beautiful boutique hotel. The price is very competitive for the city and is a more ‘comfortable’ stay compared to the clinical multi chain hotels. The hospitality team are so friendly and provide a first class service, helping us with on site parking as well as booking direct. We finished our stay with an amazing breakfast that was made to the same high standards as the restaurant food.

Lovely hotel staff are great and Joe goes above and beyond makes you feel you are vip always spoke polite and patient. I personally think he could go high in hospitality.
I dropped a star off for two reasons when should ever book for a table and also pay a service charge when you have already paid over £1600 + for five nights and they prices for meals is well overpriced and drinks. Lots of hot water nice toiletries but a basic room no wardrobe for clothes just a hanging rack. I do our sheets were not changed on our stay as the bottom sheet had a little mark on it.the bed was comfy but I had feather pillows and duvet which I have an allergy to feathers but that's not the hotels fault. Anyway lovely time in Southampton I would recommend the hotel also la regada Spanish restaurant next door and a trip to isle of wight over the road on the jet ferry.

Stayed for a short break and enjoyed the experience. To be fair room was not quite what I expected. Seating area was a chair with a desk, I was expecting some comfy chairs. Maybe it was my expectation but maybe also the wording of Superior double is a tad unfair also - from what I can see the lowest category is superior. Having said this the bed was extremely comfortable, but it was a double and maybe a larger bed would be benefit some. Shower was superb as was the air conditioning which was needed. Room was at the back and was quiet. It also has parking which needs to be booked in advance because there is limited parking around it. It was noticeable as got to the end of our stay the biscuits and toilet did not get replenished.

Have a look on booking . com, that's where I booked our stay. It's such a lovely hotel, I really recommend it. We had the room with green décor. Parking is a little tricky as there are only 1 or 2 spaces at the back of the hotel from what we could find, so it may be worth contacting the hotel directly to ask about that.
