Enjoyed a three night stay last month and was not disappointed. From the moment you arrive you feel at home and you feel so welcome it's hard to leave. Would highly recommend a visit to see Julian & Andy who have given such thought to every detail of this amazing property. No packet biscuits here! Delicious homemade cake/biscuits in your room everyday. Breakfast was the best and again homemade and local produce added to the yumminess. Will definitely be staying again.

Hi Jenny, Thanks for your review, it was good to have you staying with us. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the homemade cake and biscuits. We hate the small packets of biscuits too. Andy's daily treats taste so much better. Hope you can make it again next year - do book soon as we're filling up fast. Best wishes, Andy & Julian.

We have just returned home after another wonderful three night stay at the 25 in Torquay. Such a lovely place to stay, really feels like you’re staying with friends. Andy & Julian certainly have an eye for detail, from a beautifully decorated & furnished room, top class high quality beds & bedding, lovely daily home made cakes & biscuit treats to superb fluffy towels & top class toiletries. They use local businesses to provide the ingredients for breakfast, a local butcher & local preserves. I can highly recommend poached eggs and my husband loves the kippers. Such a breakfast choice. Cooked to perfection too. You can even order a local food hamper if you prefer to stay in! So much thought has gone into The 25. It really is great to sit in the lounge & have a drink from the honesty bar, a beautiful room& comfy sofas. We absolutely love it, home made yoghurt & muesli too! You have to go here to experience the feeling of relaxing at the door! The 25 is close to all of Torquay’s amenities but far enough away too that you can leave it behind. There are many excellent places to eat within walking distance for your evening meal, they provide details for you to look through but we would suggest booking well in advance for some, you won’t be disappointed! Restaurants to suit all pockets. We can’t wait to return again but in the meantime we hope you both enjoy some well earned down time. We also think Andy would do well to write a cookery book of his wonderful cakes & biscuits, when he’s time!

Thanks for mentioning our handy location - a flat walk to town, the harbour, restaurants and tourist attractions as well as two train stations. We arrived at the 25 for our minimoon on the Monday afternoon having got married at the weekend. We were met by Julian and Andy and welcomed with the offer of a welcome drink as we checked in which we enjoyed with some home made brownies. In the room was also a home made mint tiffin and a little jar of sweets and this was before we opened the fridge. As VIP guests we had a nice selection of treats and drinks chilling for us along with the other facilities which included a kettle, nespresso machine, milk frother and a wide range of coffee, tea and chocolate to choose from. Each day we were delivered if fresh milk and new treats. Our room - Broadsands - was lovely. Spotlessly clean and spacious. My wife takes her hairdryer and straighteners everywhere but didn’t need to as these were available to us along with an iron, ironing board, a selection of toiletries in case we’d forgotten them and shampoo and shower gel. Our room had a bath and shower which we enjoyed whilst watching television one evening with fresh white towels to dry off with. The room was air conditioned which also acted as a heater if we’d wanted it to. Alexa turned the lights on and off for us if we couldn’t be bothered to get up from the incredibly comfortable chairs or bed and would also dim them if we wanted a bit of atmosphere. The Tv could also be powered on and off using the Echo and Alexa and we were able to access Amazon Video and Netflix if we wanted to. In addition to all of this we had an iPad at our disposal with links already saved for local amenities and instructional videos for the gadgets in the room had we needed them. Breakfast was amazing. A self serve bar with cereal, home made items such as granola and yoghurt, juice and fruit and more. Additionally we had the option of a full English breakfast, poached eggs, salmon, eggs Benedict and more. Coffee and tea was endless and toast and jam etc if we wanted it. And as you do on holiday, we Indulged. We can not fault the 25. On checkout we were given a little bag of goodies to get us home and a relaxed farewell. Nothing was too much for Andy and Julian. I am a weirdo and needed a flat pillow. And within minutes - whilst juggling breakfast - Andy appeared with some for me to choose from. When we got back from our day out, it was on the perfectly made bed waiting for me. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you gentlemen.
